This game offers a lot of different options when playing which is nice, although it's pretty annoying and frustrating when picking one option, the game forces you to select another or sometimes up to all of them. The music is enjoyable, but it does get repetitive after a while. A bit of variety would definitely help. Regardless of this, the best part of the game is definitely the story which gives you flashbacks that help you understand better the character we are playing and the unexpected story line where you need to pay attention to the environment and characters dialogue to be able to solve the mystery. On a side note, I know it says in the description of the game, but the fact that they completely used AIs to make this game definitely doesn't really make you be able to enjoy it to the max, much less when there are very clear image mistakes where the environment or even the character's designs don't make any sense. Little dearies, this game is a suspenseful story... With a mystery that lightly taps your foot and makes you look at it, trying to figure out what in the hell touched you with such grace in the first place... Currently the translation isn't great (for English users), however...! It's a work in progress! (Please note that Developers really care about the game and they reached out to me, letting me know that they were working on improving the game/translation... So that people like us can enjoy it even more! Excitement is upon us! :D) There was a crash and the Developers fixed it rather quickly. So thank you! I REALLY needed to enjoy this game even more! Since I finished the game, I feel like it's fair to say what I think about it! I meant it when I said it before: it really did bring my joy. Also an interest that made me thirst for the truth and yes, I finally got the answer we all sought! What is it? Now, now... You are supposed to read the game first! No matter how the game reads... YOU WILL still understand majority of it!!! It... It's really something...! Did you see the beautiful designs and backgrounds? The beautiful people who all hold a dark secret...! This not only makes you keep attempting to solve the puzzles (which you need to actually do to figure out the mystery), but also teaches you that... There is always more to everything and everyone! Although colorful, the game is rather tragic if you think about it. You certainly need to be in a certain mindset for it and... Well... I am glad to have finally been able to obtain the truth/ending itself. You also work like a detective, needing clues to solve the mystery! Then slowly... You start to see the bigger picture... AND! Everything fits into place in the end. I loved it. I definitely will come back and re-read it once more when the English is improved. But even without it...! I still got a lot of fun/interest out of it... And I am really grateful! Thank you!!! :D :D :D
卡关,破绽密码是520我是别的,看流程就一个多小时直接云了,质量一般。 ai的手画的也有问题,礼节性好评,毕竟四年就一个2.29
English is readable, and the plot is also well-written! Thank you for making free game with high-quality!
Add hints. I got hard stuck in one of the clue finding sections, but the part I did play was ok I think. Been a while so I don't remember.
The Crack (壳中之物) is not a game, it's an e-book that's been dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which poses the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. This e-book was slapped together with the godawfully bad RenPy Visual Novel/E-Book construction kit, so just like no professional writing took place here, no professional game development took place either, it's just a product of filling out templates in the construction kit. This E-book features Choose-Your-Own-Adventure elements where you make some decisions that don't do anything to change the fact this is just an E-Book. Nobody finished reading a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure book and said "Boy, what a great game I just played!". Because E-books aren't games. And neither is this. This E-book is a painfully badly written cringefest, a "slice of life" where the characters remember a past, a happier past where Steam wasn't glutted with Ren'Py ebooks full of bad writing and character generator constructed anime girl pictures. Visual novels/e-books are tedious at best... imagine the best novel you ever read, be that Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy or 2001: A Space Odyssey or Twilight (if you have terrible taste in literature), but then translate that to a format where the words dribble out and you have to click your mouse every time you wanted to read the next sentence, instead of just turning the pages. You'd think it was garbage. Now imagine that experience, but with much worse writing (because if these guys could write professionally, they'd be published authors and this would be on shelves in bookstores, and they wouldn't have to pay Valve $100 to self-publish this on Steam), and you have your average Steam e-book. One of the chief problems with failed authors polluting Steam with non-game E-books is that E-books can easily just be presented in a web browser... there's no justification for charging money on Steam for what might as well be a webpage. We don't spend thousands on buying a gaming rig to spend money on Steam for something Chrome or Firefox could do. This E-Book has been translated from some other language into English... badly. If this was done through Google Translate, Google Translate should feel ashamed of itself. Regardless, the language in this game is broken and will put off a lot of gamers. So, should you download this E-Book? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ products on Steam? The Crack (壳中之物) has no upfront cost, but just because something doesn't have a price tag doesn't mean it's valuable. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough. You can get better quality books and comics for free online or from public libraries. Steam isn't a comic book store, neither is it Netflix, it's for games. Your gaming rig is not a Kindle. It's impossible for me to recommend things to PC gamers that aren't really games.
