The Collection: Chapters of Fate Prologue

This is a short, free horror game which takes roughly 15 minutes to complete. As the title suggests this is meant to be a collection of stories. In this prologue version only one level or chapter can be played. The game starts with a cutscene showing a car. We hear the phone conversation of two brothers, one of whom picked up a mysterious book and then suddenly we are cut off. Upon arrival we investigate the home and found mentioned book. Only to pass out and wake up in a tavern. We regularly find notes - messages left by our brother - that tell us what to do, where to go. We need to find keys to proceed and there are some scary (very scary!) chase sequences. Since this is a prologue we cannot really complete the story nor do we get any idea as to where we are and what really happened (what power the book possesses) but this is fine. It is an indie game with its usual issues: it is not optimised well and I couldn't turn on vsync, at all. Perhaps this initial chapter is a bit too dark (this could be changed) and when opening doors there is a weird collision if we do not pay attention. Apart from this I look forward to the full game / additional chapters!
