The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit es una pequeña joya narrativa que, aunque sirve como prólogo para Life is Strange 2, logra brillar con luz propia. A pesar de su corta duración (ya que además es un juego gratuito), ofrece un viaje profundamente emotivo y humano. Con una sensibilidad brillante, el juego captura la vulnerabilidad de la infancia, retratando la fantasía no solo como un juego, sino como el refugio indispensable de un niño frente al dolor del mundo adulto.

Didn't see a point in it as it did not add much to the story but it's free so why not.

Don't Nod's ability to create a compelling story just under 2 hours is honestly so impressive to me. it took me a little over 2 hours because i was looking around every nook and cranny but if you don't, you can probably finish this story in about an hour. i absolutely enjoyed everything about this game, the story is essentailly set in just a small house but it has so much personality and the visual stroytelling was top notch. i loved walking around in the backyard and sitting in the treehouse, soaking in the atmosphere with the bgm playing. i am surprised by how much i care about Chris because he is such an adorable and charming character and by the end of the game, i have turned into a massive fan of Captain Spirit!
