The Aether: Life as a God

You start as a newly created god with very little power. You create your own planet and race. You MAY use your power to aid your creations and influence their development. Over time your creations will restore your power. The more people who worship you the more power they will restore. Many other ways to gain power, see below. Pros: -Longer than I expected. -Less complicated than other CYOA games. Only one stat, power. -Gain power by accomplishing certain tasks, including trickery. -You can hunt lesser beings called daemons, battle them and steal their power. The hunts are really well done and intriguing to a god. -You can battle, kill gods, and steal their power. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome! -There are 7 'court gods'. They are powerful beings who have established a sort of neutral sanctuary for gods and daemons. BUT they each have their own secrets and ambitions. It's up to you to try to keep the peace or ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ up. So many options how this plays out and it's really the meat of the story in my opinion. -Mysteries: Why were you created, who created you, what lies beyond the court of the gods??? Cons: -Disappointed with the create your own race options. -It does feel rushed at times. -The ending is a little abrupt. -The lore is really interesting and I would have liked more. Final Verdict: -Yep, felt like a god. The reaction when you kill a god and take it's power is intoxicating. I highly recommend this at full price. You will play it more than once to try the different options.

The game is pretty interesting with a fun story. While the game isn't the longest, and is entirely text based with no graphics involved in the story which means that you need to have enough focus to read through all the dialog and options, it was still a pleasant experience with multiple possible endings and I do recommend it. The price isn't too bad either, and the game is often on sale. Definitely worth buying!

Tem o demo, e versão para android completo ou demo(não consegui usar o completo no celular) A história é legal, primeira que vejo sobre ser um deus de D&D. Um pouco linear, as mudanças ocorrem mais na sua cabeça do que realmente no jogo como é em quase todos esses jogos de texto, mas ainda assim é um tempo prazeroso. Provavelmente vou jogar de novo daqui uns meses. Se passa no "Astral Realm" de D&D, e tem um bocado de eventos opcionais. Poderia ter um bocado a mais de polimento aqui e alí e espaço para uma expansão ou DLC, mas duvido que isso venha a acontecer.

Options are very limited, and the length is much shorter compared to most CYOA, but it's still a pretty fun experience, and it leaves enough ambiguous about the world to leave room for imagination.

This game is alright. It has a lot of potential, and it's definitely fun, but there are a lot of little grammatical errors, and I think there are also errors in the plot (there's an opportunity to kill another entity but then later that entity is referenced as still living). Granted, this game is cheap, so if you can look past a relatively shallow take on the god game genre with errors in its writing, it might be worth grabbing on sale, like I did.

i liked it i played it on my phone as a demo and was hooked then bought the full game it in my opinion is under rated as it brings you into the story well but you would only need to read if you can do that its fine

A text based game that allows you to greatly alter your character's story and even the fate of the world he holds sway over. It is fairly short so keep that in mind.

There are a plethora of much better free CYOA games with much better writing than this one. Your choices don't matter at all, and it simply sets itself up for a similar quality sequel.

I really enjoyed the gameplay, text based and simple it's very straight forward. Need to find more games like this.
