All of the joy and tactility of solving jigsaw puzzles without the most frustrating elements. There's handy tools to help you find edge pieces and to make room on the table for sorting. I tried a few of the smaller puzzles before moving on to ~300 piece puzzles. I'm still working on it and I can already tell I'm enjoying my time with this. It's relaxing and challenging all at once and I couldn't ask for something better to noodle over while I sip my morning coffee.
I really liked this puzzle game. The pieces click in place well, you get a variety of puzzle sizes, and you can show just the straight-edged pieces. There's a cute story with it, and the music is great!!

(reviewed: 2020-12-19) Positives+++ +I like the animation when the puzzle is completed. ♥ +The shader used to create the glossy 3D effect on the pieces is soooo pretty! This is one of the main features that drew me to this game =). +The small animation on a part of the puzzle pieces is cool and small enough not to be too distracting. +The sounds effects of the puzzle piece are well made and awesome!!! +I like that there is a color code to let you know which image is done in which difficulty. +I like that the number of pieces placed are display in the information (i). +I like that the achievements have different background color for the differents categories of objectives (complete puzzle x, place x number of pieces, complete a puzzle at x difficulty). +Responsive UI button with color and animation when mouse hover :)♥ +Double snapping when 2 pieces are near one another. +There is a validation that disable pieces to go under the four corners of the board so that they don't go under the buttons. +I like that the pieces are randomly distributed around the working area instead of on top of one another. Observations and suggestions~~~ ~Maybe when picking and dropping a piece it would be better to change the z of it so that it stays on top of all the other pieces. For the moment, the pieces seems to have a fix z value and when dropping a piece, it sometimes can go under all the other pieces which is a bit weird and not really convenient if you want to pick it up again. ~ [strike] It would be nice to be able to remap the left click mouse to the right click mouse for dragging the canvas. Sometimes when I want to pick up a piece, I accidentally drag the canvas instead. A solution could be to enable the user to remap the controls themselves. [/strike] 2020-12-22 Update: There is now an option to choose the mouse button. ~Not a major problem, but the piece has different color when position top-right (near the light source) or left (far away from the light source). It is a bit deceiving when trying to find a piece with a certain color because the pieces near the light source are whiter. ~I feel like some of the music is more on the epic side of thing when it should be more relaxing/soothing. ~I like the background image for the menu with the map and the monsters. I'm just a bit sad to not have seen any dragon in the image of the story since there is one on the map. :P ~ [strike] One possible improvement would be to add a way to move closer pieces that are far way so you don't have to zoom in an out so much to get them one by one when doing big puzzles. [/strike] 2020-12-22 Update: There is now an attract button that brings the pieces closer by 50% each time it is clicked. I like the idea, but I think the implementation could be improved. Negatives--- -There is a bug where the shadow of a piece is under another piece which is under it, but the color part of the top piece is over the other piece. -Image six has a lot of green and image seven has a lot of grey making them harder to solve at the highest difficulty. -There is a bug with the achievement "Nicely done - Complete any 54 piece puzzle". It only popped after beginning another puzzle and placing a few pieces on it after having finishes a 54 piece puzzle. 2020-12-22 Update: The dev said he fixed the issue. I can't test it again myself. -The achievement for "That's the spirit Complete any 96 piece puzzle" only occurred after place 1 piece from another puzzle. 2020-12-22 Update: The dev said he fixed the issue. I can't test it again myself. Conclusion This puzzle game is very unique looking and fun to play! The max number of pieces feels alright with the level detail in the images. There is some customizable options available. The controls are responsive. I haven't encountered any snapping bug which is delightful! To all jigsaw puzzle lovers, this one is a sight to be seen and played for sure =D To the devs: Awesome job on this game! I wish you all the best for futures releases on this game and others! Cheers!
Nice little game with cute art and many famous stories. Nothing really special here. Just complete the puzzle on any level to unlock them all. The most time consuming achievement is to place 5,000 pieces. I did all the puzzle at 92 pieces and them about 5 at 152, but however you want to get there is fine.
If you or your kids enjoy jigsaw puzzles, this is the game you want! For the price of a Starbucks latte you get hours and hours of puzzler fun. There are 20 unique scenes with 6 different sizes on offer. Only have 10 minutes before work? Solve a quick 24 piece. Looking to kill 30 minutes to an hour? Hit that 294 piece! You can tailor your gameplay with a smorgasbord of options. Want to work edge pieces first? A quick click of an obvious icon gets it done. Want a visual reference when you puzzle? A ghost image layer with controllable transparency is at the ready. The artwork is beautiful and the story has some fun twists on old fables. Also, call me weird but...the sound effects are oddly satisfying. You can hear the difference between a piece that works and one that doesn't. It's a perfect audible match with the "locking in" animation of a good placement. Definitely recommended!
A beautifully illustrated and well designed game. Show corner pieces, snapping of the puzzle pieces differently for both correct and incorrect locations greatly aid in completing the levels. Zooming from the location of the mouse is very well implemented to view the subtle animation effects in the completed puzzle.
The art is beautiful and the game is incredibly polished. The advantage in digital jigsaws is that you can't lose all the pieces!
This is a puzzle game that has an interesting take on some well known fairy tale characters where the story is told via piecing puzzle scenes together. After a while of playing I wound up completing the majority of the puzzles just to see what was going to happen next. The accessibility options really stood out to me -- you have the ability to only see the edge pieces and toggle a "ghost" image to guide you. You can also change the difficulty of the puzzle in the scene selection menu to change how many pieces the scene becomes. The custom artwork is top notch and the music for each puzzle scene helps bring the story to life. Overall it was a relaxing experience that gave me some chuckles along the way.
Best jigsaw game I've ever played. So chill, so polished, tons of levels, and all the little quality-of-life features you ever could hope for, like zooming with the mouse wheel, or pieces snapping together in a satisfying way so you can move groups around, or a slider to show the finished puzzle if you want, or just the box lid off to the side, and I love having the power to only show edge+corner pieces if you like to start with the border like I always do! You never have to save, it autosaves every move, so you can drop in drop out anytime. Really satisfying and relaxing. If you love jigsaw puzzles, you will love this game.
I appreciate the variety of difficulty/assist options, since they make it feel more like the simplicity of doing it when I used to work out puzzles with my mom and brother. Turning on the option to only show edge pieces eels like when we'd divide up parts, say one of us finding sky pieces while the other filled in edges. Animated tiles are a nice touch. All around polished, and it's fun to see puzzles coherently connected by the story world. Although I'm only several puzzles in, the illustrations so far all are working great for this, seeming to have a good balance between patterns and distinguishing details. Thanks for making this.
