The Adventures Of Maximus

Hallo Steam-Community, dachte das Spiel wäre mal was interessant als Jump 'n Run aber leider bin ich von diesem Spiel was enttäuscht. erstens vorab wer das Spiel auf dem Desktop direkt startet bekommt keine Auswahl wie man das Spiel spielen möchtet. Das kommt nur wenn ihr das Spiel im Steam-Software startet dann könnt ihr auswählen wie z.B.: mit dem PS4, Xbox One, Switch-Controller oder Maus und Tastatur spielen möchtest. Das Spiel finde ich eintönig mit den Tastenbelegung bei meinem Xbox 360 Controller. Taste A ist Springen Taste B ist Schlagen mit dem Schwert Taste X gedrückt halten sprinten. Mit dem linken Steuerstick kann man die Figur steuern, da kommt schon ein Problem. Wenn man nach rechts mit dem linken Stick geht steckt er manchmal dann muss man lieber den linken Stick lieber rechts oben steuern bzw. wenn man nach links geht links hoch dann läuft er ohne zu stoppen. Die Kampfszenen des Spiel ist lieblos und eintönig gemacht. Die Gegnergeräuche sind für den Preis des Spiels auch nicht berrauschend. Deshalb gebe ich diesemal eine negative Bewertung zu diesem Spiel, habe geschafft bis zum ersten Boss zu kommen. Aber umgehauen hat das Spiel leider nicht. ______________________________________ Hello Steam Community, thought the game would be interesting as a platform game but unfortunately I'm a bit disappointed with this game. first of all, whoever starts the game directly on the desktop does not have a choice of how to play the game. That only comes when you start the game in the Steam software then you can choose such as: want to play with the PS4, Xbox One, Switch controller or mouse and keyboard. I find the game monotonous with the key assignment on my Xbox 360 controller. Key A is jumping Key B is striking with the sword Hold button X and sprint. You can control the figure with the left control stick, which is a problem. If you go to the right with the left stick it is sometimes stuck then you have to steer the left stick up to the right or if you go to the left up to the left it runs without stopping. The battle scenes of the game are made unkind and monotonous. The enemy noises aren't intoxicating for the price of the game either. That's why I'm giving this game a negative rating this time, and I managed to get to the first boss. But unfortunately the game didn’t blow your mind.

There's nothing good here, The Adventures of Maximus exists solely to exploit bundle buyers and collectors - and for some reason the install size is 7GB! All for what looks like a bad flash game. In some ways more effort was put into this than the typical game-shaped object, I appreciate at least giving you the ability to defend in combat instead of whacking each other with swords until someone dies - and there's Mega Man style choose-your-own boss order which is neat - but that doesn't change that the fighting is awful, the platforming is mediocre, and the control layout makes it needlessly difficult to alternate attacking and running (run should be on the right trigger, not the X button). The lack of basic effort across the board is just grating, there's very little level design and you'll spend a lot of time slowly running across flat terrain to reach the next enemy. I can't think of a reason to bother with The Adventures of Maximus. Even if the game was free, I still wouldn't recommend it.
