The Adventurer Episode 2 is an asset flip/construction kit game made by filling out templates in the craptastic Smile Game Builder (giving RPG Maker a run for its money!). It's published by notorious asset flip scammers, SA Industry, from Brazil, who are somewhat more famous for using a battery of alternate accounts to dump CryEngine asset flips on Steam with ridiculous cash grab prices. So it shouldn't come as a surprise that this is garbage. Resolution and controls are locked and can't be changed. Games copied + pasted into existence using Smile Game Builder feature lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. Some of the defects in the game can be attributed to the choice of using the Smile Game Builder RPG construction kit. This is a very poor quality construction kit sometimes used by non-English amateur developers as it's free (so they don't have to pay for GameMaker Studio) and doesn't require advanced game development skills, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities (it's arguably worse than GameGuru). Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine. SA Industry have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. And gamers certainly should not reward unethical Brazilian asset flippers by buying their trash games.
This part of the game is worse than the first lot of rubbish, so another candidate to erase from my account. This time the character didn't even leave the house, had one conversation with his mum, then was unable to enter rooms with doors. End of progress.
Continuation of the first game. Guess it is all a series of dreams. Still quite decent.
This "game" does not give you any instructions on where to go what to do or even how to play. The gameplay is not engaging and everything looks like ass. What you can do in this game: - Turn the camera with E and Q and enter first person mode with B after that all novelty wears off. - Get bored I am glad I didn`t pay for this.
