Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 8 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The 18th Attic is a psychological horror game where you play as a man trapped in a loop, armed only with an instant picture camera. Hunt down paranormal anomalies lurking around by taking their pictures and detecting their presence to unravel the haunting secrets of your past. Each photo will unlock a new memory. Will you uncover them all?
Use your instant picture camera to take photos of paranormal anomalies that you find strange. Each photo unlocks a memory.. but beware - they will try to trick you and some anomalies are not as friendly as the others.
Detect and capture paranormal anomalies and remove them by taking a picture — shifting shadows, spectral figures, and cryptic disturbances — as you piece together the attic's harrowing past. Each photo brings you closer to uncovering its sinister secrets, but the anomalies won't go quietly.
Equipped with a instant picture camera and a lighter, you have to scan your environment. Be careful not to run out of photo cartridges, otherwise you won't be able to haunt the paranormal .. and beware your health. Some anomalies can attack you.
Prepare to confront your deepest fears and test your resolve and observation skills. Can you survive the loop and uncover the truth, or will the attic claim you forever? Climb up the Attic.

Generally I avoid anomaly games all together... but I decided to give this one a try. This one to me... was fun. A lot of good jump scares in the game... and even though there's 55 floors of repetition... there's actually a pretty good story to be told if you pay attention. 10 Bells... Cabin Factory... and now The 18th Attic are some of my favorite anomaly games out there.
Super cool for an Anomaly game, very atmospheric. Havent finished yet but I am certain to. enjoy the game .
无聊的很,找异常游戏无聊挺正常,但这么无聊的还是少见。

I was given this game. As someone who doesn't really play anomaly games it's not necessarily for me but viewing it from the perspective of someone who enjoys watching people play them I would recommend this game to people who play and enjoy a lot of anomaly games. There's definitely jump scares and other horror aspects that I enjoyed.
I would give this neutral if I could. Its not a bad anomaly game and it does a decent job at telling a simple subtle story. Since apparently this is a single dev though I'll leave this as a positive even though not having achievements function on the harder difficulty was quite annoying. It required a 2nd full playthrough on baby mode for achieves. Additionally the anomalies started strong but became repetitive in style. Still a decent game to kill some time.
Another new anomaly game has entered the chat! So this is this developer's second game in the subgenre and I think this one has shown some big improvements! The jumpscares are subtle (mostly) and really keep you on your toes the rest of the game. In terms of gameplay, knowing if you immediately are right or wrong on if something is an anomaly or not was super helpful. Also, mentioning the default floor is completely clean of anomalies is so key and so many other developers just don't care to say either way, leaving the player unsure. The "Chase Mode" is a must, in my opinion, as this version of the game really pushes the subgenre's boundaries and I think it was a really cool challenge! The only negative about this one, the story was fine, but the ending I thought was a cop out. Could have ended it in a different light and not be so on the nose with it (especially where it could have used a Content Warning that was not mentioned on the Steam Game page...). Other than that, very much worth the time and money if you dig anomaly hunting games and want something that feels a bit more ambitious than more of the same thing.
Le jeu est cher pour le prix. Les anomalies trop simples. Le lore est bof bof sans intérêt.
I never really get scared from horror games but this... this one had me puckered up. Masterfully pieced together 9.8/10 highly recommend.
Fun game if you choose story mode first. Once you get to the higher levels, the anomalies dont seem to have any jump scare mechanics. Its basically a horror spot the difference game. Devs, if youre reading this review, I feel like if the main enemy is a weeping angel, it'd be cool if it was faster per floor?
