After 800 hours in this game, let me tell you, this is the most realistic tennis game out there. The World Tour mode is fantastic and very easy to tweak if you don't like something. The player base can sometimes be inaccurate since it's community-generated, but the top 100 is almost always accurate. The controls are very intuitive and easy to learn (well, sort of), and the AI ​​difficulty selection system is great. The multiplayer is very active, even though it might not seem like it at first glance. I like to compare it to a small town. There are high-level online tournaments, and everyone is friendly. The modders also do a great job every year. And while the graphics aren't exactly the game's strongest point, they're fine for a game where you almost never see the players' faces. The new movement animations are very natural, and they're being refined even further. To conclude my review, I highly recommend playing it, and dedicating some time to it (because it's necessary to play it well).

Scratches the Tennis itch. A very good balance of realism & arcade, with ways to "move the needle" one way or the other if you want. I do recommend looking up some guides/the official manual for the game, as some of the player stats, World Tour mechanics, and control/difficulty settings can be a bit unintuitive, especially if you're not familiar with tennis games/the Tennis Elbow series. But a very helpful community, and responsive developer, make it fairly easy to get answers to any questions you may have. Graphics aren't top notch by any means but they are passable. Sound design is pretty generic with some crowd sound effects and a basic commentator, which I opt to turn off as he can be kind of tilting (limited selection of lines so repeats things often, and reacts negatively to bad plays). Music is off during gameplay and menu music is a bit of a throwaway. But the meat & potatoes of any sports game is the actual gameplay, and this is where Tennis Elbow excels. I admit I have not tried multiplayer but I haven't seen too many complaints about the networking quality, and there are even tournaments hosted on the official forums if you're into that. But the AI are quite good and the difficulty settings are VERY granular. The game allows you to tailor everything from the control scheme (Arcade, Sim, or "Expert"), UI assists (aiming reticules, ball trajectory indicator, & even an assist for where you should stand to hit the ball accurately), and the AI difficulty exactly how you prefer. Lower AI difficulties also handicap the AI character stats, while the highest difficulty actually boosts them. Character stats are important and "building" a good character to suit your playstyle is a big part of the fun. If you play tennis IRL, or in another game, you already know how you play but learning what stats are useful to you can be a bit of a learning curve. Luckily you can save multiple characters and swap between them in the Training Club, which I recommend doing until you've settled on a "build"/character you like, before jumping into World Tour. I made the mistake of starting a WT right off the bat and making adjustments to characters in that mode is not as easy (points can't be taken away, only added, and certain things like Talents and the Special Ability are set in stone/cannot be altered after you start). Overall, can't recommend enough if you're looking for a "grounded" Tennis game on PC! Mario Strikers this isn't, of course.

This is by far the best tennis game out there. The animations are getting better and the overall feel and look of the game is second to none.

this is a great tennis game. an awesome and extremely active mod community means this has everything(and everyone) you could want. no issues on Mac or SteamDeck!

just to best tennis game in the world. you have everything. all atp wta tour players (I mean not only recent times but full open era) all wta atp tournaments, olympics, davis cup. you can play career mode in every era of tennis. for example I played with alcaraz in 2011. and I lost to ao open djokovic (a bit realistic I guess lol) But there is one problem. Online system is not very good (or I dont understand it). the mechanics are different from other tennis games. top spin 2k25 focuses on your timing on ball. this game does not care this it only care your decision of shots and your footwork (also direction is very sensitive if you play in elite controls ). if you cant position yourself properly your ball goes out. (in arcade controls this is not always correct and your balls are mostly in) besides online system and graphics (if you care, I dont care) this is by far the best tennis game ever. and its indie..
