Tennis Arcade VR

UPDATE1-27-2018: The dev has upgraded the leadership board to reflect global scores along with some additional upgrades. This is a game changer when considering the leaderboards previously reflected local / personal scores only. With that said. I believe the title justifies the price, and due to the prompt nature of the devs reply to the situation I have to say - I am confident they do care about this product and plan on supporting it in the future. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tennis Arcade VR is a great little party game where you can challenge freinds and family to some pretty obscure and fun ball bashing target shooting mayhem. There are several game types ranging from knocking barrells stacks down with tennis balls, making goals by hitting soccer balls (footballs) into the net with your tennis racket while avoiding the moving cardboard goaltender to whacking basketballs into a number of hoops. Everything is done using the tennis racket with the touch controls and the feedback you get from contact with the balls is pretty much spot on. The multiplayer is the only thing I have issue with and that is only a concern when it comes to the price of this title. As it stands currently there is only Local multiplayer available where you are only able to challenge people using the same PC and swapping the HMD back and forth. While this can be fun - it leaves little room for replayability as there is no global scores to beat. If you have others to play with this is definitely a title worth grabbing - if not then I'd advise on waiting for it to go on sale as the Tennis Arcade VR is still quite a fun game to play alone. ＞8 unique and fun games って言ってるけど、ルールは全部「トスマシンが寄越すボールを打ち返して的に当てろ」だしトスマシンも常に同じ位置にあるので実質一個だと思う。的が横一列に並んでるか、組体操のピラミッド状か、円形に並んでるかはステージ変化の範疇であって別のゲームって言い張るのは無理がある。 試してないオンラインPvP機能を除けば、出来としてはハードに同梱されてるお試しソフト並。ちゃんとした有料ゲーをやった後で楽しめるものではない。 それとトスマシン左斜め前にあるんだけど、左から来たボールをフォアハンドで右に流すのすごい難しい。正面からトスしてくんねーかな。

Fun VR game that suits party or family get-togethers and having some fun in VR beating others high scores. Knock down barrels, hit cards, hit a dart board, hit soccer balls past a goalie, hit basketballs into hoops all., with your tennis racket. It's more fun than I would have thought and add beer to the equation and it's a real lot of fun. The ball hits feel satisfying while not perfect it is an arcade game and not real tennis. The machine fires the balls at you and you build up a sweat after a wee while. You can play single player but better when friends over and you put this one on as everyone can pick it up quickly and have fun. It does suffer from a little blur but doesn't affect game play. Recommended for parties, family time or when you just want to smash something into barrels.

Fun game, but crashed 4 times in 15 mins. Let me know if you fix it, and i'll buy it again

I have to say, I really enjoyed this game. It's a kind of game I enjoyed playing after long day at work to relax, or on the weekends after waking up late. I loved the idea with combining one of my favorite sports with many different arcade games, like shooting the barrels or darts and it was so satisfying. The core gameplay felt so real, like I was playing tennis in the real world, but only more fun. The graphics were very cute. The fonts, models and the whole feel to the game brought me back to my childhood to some of the arcade games I used to play. It felt captivating, but not too distracting while I was trying to score as many points as I could. This game is a must buy if you like tennis or want to feel the nostalgia of playing arcade games. Even if you aren't, you can always get it on a discount, and trust me, you won't regret it!

Very fun experience! I will elaborate further on. Soon. A very very fun game. As far as it is from tennis simulation, this arcade tennis game features some simulation game like physics. There are five different mini games placed on three maps. Graphics of all three maps are very pleasant to be in. My fav. is the one placed at nighttime, where you can look up at this beautiful sky full of stars. Old arcade scoreboard system is a great feature that will be appreciated among any group of friends playing. Back to the physics of the game. There is a tennis ball machine ejecting balls in your direction at various trajectories and speed, which allows you to get ready with your stance and hit a forhend or backhand (get rid of your second controller if you would like to play a two handed backhand) Different games demands different play styles. For example for barrels game you will need strong forehand while in basketball a precise lob or slice can be very beneficial. You can even catch the ball on your raqcuet head and hit a halfvolley from it. There are many ways one can play this game, I find it very fun to mimic real tennis moves. Have fun!

One of the most under the radar games on VR. Its just fun. It works perfect, feels fluid and accurate and is cheap to boot! One of my favourite arcade VR games to date!
