very fun and relaxing cool puzzles great music and art buy it's very cool :)
This game is super charming and the puzzles are really thoughtful. Check it out for the art and music alone!
Delightful little isometric puzzler. Nothing too hard, oozes with wobbly style and has adorable interactions in the writing. One thing I'd highlight is all the sound effects and feedback this game gives you as you scroll through options, as well as artwork and wobbly shaders really make it feel alive. Loved it!
Tendy to the rescue!
If I had to pick the best game from CosmOS9 I would be conflicted between tendy and Triga. The aesthetic of this one was really strong with this deformed play-dough style of the 90s and also the puzzle mechanic was very unique, albeit the puzzle were mostly too easy. Basically you need to complete tasks given to you using three types of instructions (shoot, go, plant seed) but there's a catch! You only have limited instructions (9 per level) which you hand pick before the level begins and which order is randomized when you play it (you get them 3 at a time and only get a new set after deploying them all) but you can choose to lock one row, or 1 instruction in each column which leads to very interesting planning especially what will you do if you get a non-desired instruction. This mechanic is really good for this length of game (~1.5 hrs) because if the game got harder or you had more options this would just become frustrating and most players would probably depend more on luck than on actual planning. The thing that I really liked about this one too were its characters - basically each station that you work in (comparable to a chapter) has different overseer with different personality which are interesting to hear from. Overall really good puzzle game, can't wait to see another game from this author
Really appreciated this game, it's chill and easy with a good soundtrack. The fact that you can sometimes complete a level by playing with luck makes this game stand out a bit and not really in the puzzle category, the number of levels is also somewhat low (only 15 ones) because initially created for a game-jam but you can replay some levels to choose whether or not to leave certain tasks and unlock different ending achievements. I liked it.
Oh wow, this was a nice surprise. I felt like it was a bit too random at first, where most of the levels were about luck. ... But no. It's a simple logic puzzle where you can consistently finish perfectly every level, as long as you lock the correct actions, which is part of the puzzle. I had a great time once I correctly understood it. And once I realized I just had to follow the level goals too.
Very cute little sokoban puzzler with a "robot instruction" gimmick similar to Robo-Rally. You get a 3-turn instruction machine, which holds 3 instructions per turn, and there are 3 types of instructions. You can lock a single turn or one instruction in each turn to reduce the randomness enough to accomplish all goals in a level. This emphasis on "instructions" rather than "moves" is a really clever way to make the player distance themselves from the puzzle. While you are setting your instructions, you get a view of the level's start and goals, which allows you to properly plan. The randomizer encourages you to think about what moves are "necessary" on which turn. Quite good! Some more puzzles would've been nice - there's only 15, 18 if you count alternate solutions - but also the game doesn't outstay its welcome or get frustrating at all, so I finished it feeling very satisfied.
Tendy is a lovely puzzler that takes a small tool set and adds an unusual spin to produce a series of bite-sized but engaging challenges. It's a bit of Sokobond, a bit of card-based randomness, wrapped in with a visual style and score that ooze charm and wonderfully support its hopeful and deeply human story. While the mechanics may seem a little opaque at first, it unspools its challenges gradually and by a few stages into the first section its the actions you need to take will become clearer. An hour or two is likely all the time you'll need to see the end of Tendy, but it's worth that time to experience.
I'm proud of you, TENDY!
