Temple of Xiala is a smart puzzle game where you control the gravity, and have to move boulders in slots to clear a path to the next level.

I love pixel-art based games. I love puzzles. I love well made sounddesign. This game has all three. The only downside is that it basically was over too quick.
Another case of a game that is fun but Missing a lot. Still in early access but Its most likely like this
I mean it’s a nice looking game, and a decent puzzle game (even though it’s extremely simple), but not really something worth the money. Also it somehow crashed my PC?? its probably my own PCs fault but still lmao

Quick little puzzle game that is fun wish there was more to it.
Note: this early access game is abandoned.
Do i recommend this game: yes. Should you buy it? maybe Temple of Xiala is a fun puzzle game, in the current state it is about 1 hour worth of fun. The concept is great. The current price is €1,59, which equals to €1,59/h. Reasonable pricing. HOWEVER: As this game was released as early access 6 years ago and with a lot of unfulfilled promises from the Kickstarter, this developer is probably not worth it.
It is... okay. It is not bad puzzle game, but it isn't new or inspired in any way. Extremely short. "Early access" as in abandonware.
Temple of Xiala is a pixel puzzle game for 2$ which is a bit high for my taste. It took me 17min to complete. its a puzzle game with limited moves on each level if it goes on sale pick it up but I wouldn't spend more than a 1$ not a lot of replayability 1/10
Oh dear What could have been a hidden gem turns out to be shovel-were! Graphics: pixel art is OK, adds nothing to the game, but doesn't take anything away either. Audio: no background and basic movement sounds of the blocks and chirps for when level beaten. Story: LOL LOL LOL what story! Game-play: Game-play is good, and is were the game shines best. levels are well designed and can offer a challenge towards the end of the game. minimal replay value. Areas were the game needs improvement: (these are more for the dev then the player) A win screen to show after completing the final level. - game doing nothing looks like a bug at best, and it also means the no one will view the credits. More levels! - even freemium phone apps have more before the pay wall. A level editor with workshop level sharing. - use the player base for effectively more content (just force the players to beat the level before uploading) Final Verdict: Overall this would have been an easy thumbs up if there was more game and a proper ending. this will take less then an hour to 100% which places it as poor value
While this is technically an early access title, after years of inactivity it appears to be abandoned. Going with that assumption, we're left with a sliding block puzzle game that only has 21 levels, takes less than an hour to complete, and has no ending.
The character walks off screen on the final level and the player has to quit out manually.
It's functional, but if the best I can say about the game is that it technically works then it would be a pretty poor recommendation.
A short puzzler, Temple of Xiala was able to wrack my brain with some of it's later puzzles but ultimately isn't something worth spending money on. I was glad to derp around with it for a while as I got it as part of a giant Yogscast 2018 Jingle Jam Humble Bundle, but i could not recommend anyone purchasing it directly for it's own sake.
