2 Minute Video Review → https://youtu.be/K6_fx_7YmwQ Temple of Aluxes puts you in an ancient lost temple filled with lots of challenging puzzles. It’s like a series of mini escape room games, each of them self contained with everything you need to solve it inside that area. So after you clear an area and advance to the next room you don’t need to backtrack, which is nice. The graphic style is simple and pleasing, which helps to focus on the puzzles themselves. And there’s soothing ambient audio as well. It features a unique clue system in the form of a hand scanner. Press the grip button to scan for important clues on walls and objects to aid your puzzling. There’s a variety of challenging puzzles with varying difficulty including both logic puzzles and skill-based challenges. There’s teleporting movement and sliding movement as well. You’ll get at least 2 hours of play out of this, so for $8 it’s a good value.
👑 Powered by HoI 4 Deu Curators group in German / English 👑

 Follow Main group
 Follow Second group
English: ------------------------------> Temple of Aluxes from Silver Machine Studios is a small puzzler. We are in an old abandoned temple from the Inca or Maja time? I don't know exactly. Well. In the many temple rooms, 13 in number, there is at least one puzzle each to open the locking door that blocks our way to the next room. The riddles are average and very different, so unfortunately they lose some of their connection to the environment. There is no real story. Unfortunately, below average is the control, there are some adjustment options, but still we like to slide through walls or objects sometimes. However, this doesn't allow us to cheat into the next room. Luckily. So the riddles have to be solved to get further. So we move through the temple by free movement combined with teleportation. Or only by teleport, just as you like it. The special feature of Temple of Aluxes is the "scanner" which we can activate by using the grip function. With it we can then find hidden hints or even objects to interact with a puzzle. Many of the puzzles can only be solved or understood this way. To solve some of the puzzles we sometimes need some fingertip feeling, especially with the stone pillar, grasping and turning the elements is rather a matter of luck. Buttons work well. The graphics is unfortunately only lowpolystyle, who likes that, is certainly satisfied. I personally don't like it that much. All in all a nice puzzler, which offers a lot of puzzling fun with 13 rooms. However, you have to accept slight compromises in the controls. Certainly interesting for puzzlers in VR in the sale. 👀News from ancient ruins on my curator page. 👑 Powered by HoI 4 Deu Curators group in German / English 👑

 Follow Main group
 Follow Second group
Another short but sweet puzzler from Silver Machine. Bigger and better than their first game, Dungeon Escape VR. The puzzles were challenging and rewarding, giving a nice sense of progress. Though I reached the end, there are still hidden treasures I'll need to uncover. I imagine final playtime to be about 3-4 hours. Well worth the price.
VR bulamaca oyunu güzele benziyor inş bi gün oynarım :)
enjoyed their other games but the controls let this down for me, grabbing objects fine, grabbing puzzles like turning a dial was so annoying and those small blue tower puzzles, maybe a Rift only problem, the game part was great and they added snap turn, but for me it became very frustrating and not because of the puzzles.
Played through the entire game over a few hours with some breaks. As of 4/11/2019 it is fully beatable and the review that say it's not are either old or they just gave up. My group had a blast playing, would strongly recommend either as a solo or as a small group party game just like an escape room experience would normally. We took turns with who was in the headset, but everyone got to participate in helping solve the clues. Most of the puzzles were fairly fair and straightforward enough to figure out, but there are some that either really make you think, or find certain clues. The best advice to avoid frustration I can offer, is that when using the scanner, you have to be pretty close to the thing you're scanning. There were a few puzzles where we were sure we had scanned an entire room only to find that we were like an inch away from the wall/object and missed it. I believe only 1 of the puzzles we had no clue how to do and ended up brute forcing it by just guessing over and over again until we got the correct series of answers, everything else has an answer that can be found in the room. 1 Bug was found where we dropped an item and it fell through the world, and then we fell through the world with it and could see the game from underneath (but found the item!) the reload option didn't bring the item back up and we had to restart at the level selector to get it back.
I love puzzles and Escape rooms and when I got my rig I bought a bunch of them that I did not play for a while. Now that I have played HL Alex to death I tried a couple of them and I would not recommend this one. I played another one just before this and that had fun puzzles and interesting solutions. Only a couple of times I did not find the puzzles or I had to search for a clue. I've only played the first 2 rooms of this game before uninstalling so the end might be amazing but I was so annoyed by all the hide and seek I had to do. All clues where hidden via infrared light and no puzzles just locks with things to find in the room. Not my favorite experience. So if you love searching for hidden clues and pixel hunt this is the game for you, but not for me.
Super Rätsel, schöne Atmosphäre.
