Taxi Driver - The Simulation

I've had a few minutes playing this, as in truth there's not an awful lot going on as it stands today (16th February 2022). That being said, before I mention the things I'd like to see addressed, the game has a hell of a lot of potential. As long as it is regularly updated, patched etc, this game could be absolutely brilliant. Not too many things I'd like to see changed at this stage, but this is what I picked up on: - No option to change key bindings - No tutorial (no explanation about what functions are, and how to use them) - No option to change driving view - No goals or targets - Some minor English spelling errors ( e.g cancel, not cancle) - Traffic lights are too slow to go green. Not in sync with red and amber. - No map - Basic UI - No list of potential customers (length of journey, destination, price or customer priority) - Can't turn off the irritating background music - No fare meter - No indication of speed limits (speedometer present but for what reason if there's no speed limits)? All in all as I said before, as long as the game is updated and patched, these things will be ironed out. Considering the game was only released today, it is definitely playable and I didn't notice many graphical issues. I am running on a Samsung G9 at full ultra resolution on an RTX 3090/i9 9900k/64GB 3666mHz RAM, and the game was smooth and ran easily at 120fps. I would recommend whilst it is on sale for sure, and once it has been updated and more features added, would definitely be worth full price. Looking forward to updates and developments. Definitely has the potential to be one of my favourite games.

Das Spiel gibt keinerlei Anleitung bzgl. Tastenbedienung etc. Ein Tutorial fehlt auch. Die Steuerung der Fahrzeuge ist hektisch. Es gibt keine Karte, die den Weg anzeigt - nur einen Pfeil über dem Fahrzeug. Autos fahren ineinander und der Stau löst sich nicht auf. Und vieles andere mehr... Ich kann nur vom Kauf abraten.

The game runs very smooth, so there is no problem in that. Gameplay wise it leaves a lot to be desired. No explanation what to do, where to go. No settings at all. No way to turn of / change volume of the irritating background music. Other cars bump into you and you get the traffic violation. Traffic lights to unrealistic and sometimes even driving when the light is green you get a run red traffic violation. Sometimes when you run over the boardwalk people walk right through your car. I don't think it is a bad game, but it needs a lot of work / bug fixing. But as i read that it has been out on Playstation for a year, i don't think they are going to fix these problems. Lot's of missed potential. I cannot recommend it at this time, sorry.

[h1] Очередной тестовый каркас про такси, но почему-то платный и без русского перевода [/h1] Но на анрыле сейчас наклепали всяких штамповок от души. Похоже движок действительно простой и относительно дешёвый. Физика вождения приятная, но не более того. А игровой процесс слишком ограничен. Игру можно развить - машинки выглядят приятно, есть даже отражения. Это лучше всякого мусора на Unity. Также здесь учитываются проезды на красный и столкновения, хотя регистрация столкновений своеобразная. Да и интеллект некоторых водил очень так себе. Города - типичные коробки в духе древней Test drive unlimited. Есть вид их кабины. 137 руб даже по скидке довольно много за такие недоделки. Уж про полную цену в 550 руб лучше вообще не говорить. Самый главный плюс - здесь приятно ездить с игрового пульта. Всё приятно нажимается и газует/тормозит. Но этого маловато за такую цену. Когда-то целую GTA IV можно было купить за такие деньги. Также не хватает русского перевода и облачного сохранения.

I don't know how but I misunderstood and thought this game was a car simulator, probably as it seems to have VR in it (didn't test), but that's about it. There's no wheel support, no gears, just one speed, so can't change gears, can't use the clutch, can't do any signaling, start the engine or use the hand brake. In fact, you can't even access any menu, the "exit" button does not even ask if you want to exit the game, you just push it accidentally and it goes out. And it doesn't save anything either, each time I start the game it asks for my language, incapable of saving this somewhere, though considering there's no settings I suppose it has sense or else you wouldn't be able to change this ever again. The graphics are very good though, smooth and with good attention to the detail, nice different areas, changes on day/night, beautiful sky full of starts in the night, and nice lightning in general. The car seems to drift a bit too much, even at low speeds, and sometimes jumps and gets upside down in an unrealistic way. It also seems a bit difficult to stop, if you brake too much it goes on reverse, and if you accelerate just a little it then goes forward, ending with you moving forward-backward many times until it finally stops, not great. It isn't looking like they can add enough realism to it, but I could be happy enough if they turn it into a basic simulator with enough controls, improve the UI (actually, add a UI) and add wheel, pedals and clutch support. With those graphics and the idea of taking people to places this could become a very nice game but as it is at the moment, it's barely a demo. Can't recommend right now.

Ein lustiger und schöner Taxi Driver Simulator gefällt mir und wenn ich mir den Himmel bei Tag und bei Nacht anschaue muss ich ehrlich sagen es sieht fantastisch aus :)

Boah, eine Fahrphysik als wäre überall Glatteis. Schneller als 70 km/h im 4.Gang kann die Mühle nicht fahren, dem entsprechend klingt auch das "Motorengeräusch". Detailliert oder realistisch ist weder die Umgebung noch das Fahrverhalten der gummibereiften Kasperkutsche. Die Preise für Fahrten im Spiel sind auch alles andere als "REALISTISCH". Ich wollte das Taxi für 300$ nicht kaufen. Für Trophäenjäger ist dieses Machwerk aber ideal, denn die 6 Errungenschaften hat man bereits nach 5 Minuten problemlos freigeschaltet. Habe es im Sale für 3,70€ gekauft, den vollen Preis von knapp 15€ ist es mMn nicht wert. Für den Preis macht eine reale Taxifahrt mehr Spaß und ist unterhaltsamer.

It is like Crazy Taxi but without the reckless dangerous driving. It is also more realistic and has way better graphics than Crazy Taxi.
