Taxi Chaos 2

Honestly this game needs to be in early access and needs to be even cheaper than it is now. The game has no option (at least not obvious) way to quit the game. There is an option to go to the menu and that's it. The missions are so all over the place, they try to offer guidance# but it just ends up hurting you more than. It helps. Unfortunately, until they sort out all the issues, I cannot recommend it.

i want to love this game buts just awful. above all, there are 1000s of ways to get stuck in cracks, rocks, pileups, even map glitches and there is NNNOOO reset button or function to reset the cab . you must abandon the 20 minute work shift which means no pay, nothing, complete reset. runs choppy like 5 to 10 fps. a million bugs and glitches. some missions physically impossible, very unblanced. everything leads to rage and frustration, just not ready just not fun at all....

While a little rough in places, there is a lot of love here. It's full of charm and is a blast to play. The dynamic elements keep up the pace, and there are different areas and ways of getting there (with even more to unlock).

A true successor to Crazy Taxi! The perfect arcade game for genre fans. The city is huge and alive, the driving is pure fun, and the chaos and excitement behind the wheel are off the charts. Nice graphics, funny passengers, and car customization. Perfect for jumping in for 15 minutes and getting a dose of adrenaline. If you've missed crazy taxi adventures — this is your game! I recommend it!

Very funny and fast game, everything is so colorful and shiny. i had much fun playng it, the simplicity of gameplay is very aprriciated nowdays)

I really wanted to give this a fair shot, so I decided against a refund and pushed through about two hours of "gameplay," but it has been a total martyr's journey. Honestly, this feels like AI Slop. It’s incredibly unpolished and riddled with bugs that make it almost impossible to enjoy. For the price they are charging, the quality is nowhere near where it should be. It feels cheap, broken, and honestly, calling it a "game" is a stretch. It’s been a miserable experience from start to finish. Do not buy this; it’s complete trash. Save your money and your sanity for something that actually works.

(Full disclosure: I got an early access copy and played the demo) Been playing this a ton on both PC and Steam Deck. Like old school Crazy Taxi with vechicle combat - robot taxis you can smash into. The three vehicle classes actually handle differently - Heavy lets you bulldoze everything, Sport is fast as hell, Drift is more good on corners... Learning the map takes a few runs but once you know the shortcuts it gets addictive. That feeling when you nail a perfect route is great. Runs well on Deck which is a plus. Perfect for short sessions. It's not trying to be super deep or realistic. Just arcade racing that doesn't take itself too seriously. The story about fighting evil AI cabs is goofy but quite fun and relevant in these times. Some minor physics weirdness on jumps sometimes and TaxiBots can be quite annoying without the right upgrades on later stages, but nothing major. If you want something racing and fun without overthinking it, grab this. Good game. p.s. If you are buying this game thinking it's literally like crazy taxi you will probably be disappointed - it's in the same genre, but a new game of it's own.

Do not be fooled by it's vague resemblence to Crazy Taxi this is something else entirely and the only thing they have in common is the way you pick up Passengers. There's passengers that have heavy cargo with them that pulls you to one side, ones that carry so much junk they have it in a trailer and can fall off so on and so forth. All while being hounded by "NotHAL9000" and his Robotaxies. Far from perfect, but definently made with heart and soul.

I've played a couple hours so far, and... all in all? Taxi Chaos 2 does the same thing that Taxi Chaos 1 did: re-introduce the Crazy Taxi formula to modern game players - but Taxi Chaos 2 does it a little better. The Crazy Taxi formula remains the same, but while Taxi Chaos 1 was almost TOO similar to Crazy Taxi, Taxi Chaos 2 adds a couple new variations and gameplay mechanics that (for me) give the game more staying power than the original Crazy Taxi ever had, and I've enjoyed handling them as I go from point to point. I will say that the controls feel very arcade-y (in particular, the way that the taxi cabs turn and the sheer bounciness of the default taxi when you collide with things) but I was able to get used to them fairly easily - and besides, I don't think I can really cast shade on the devs for having arcade controls in their game that is, quite literally, a(nother) love letter to an arcade game. Like... for better or for worse, the taxi cabs still feel like they're from Crazy Taxi, and if you don't know what that's like... well, it's not like GTA V, Cyberpunk 2077, or any "realistic" driving game. Be forewarned. So far, I've enjoyed my time with the game so far, and I look forward to what else the devs decide to do for the game as they continue to update it.

If you like driving... and CHAOS, this game is what you need to play :D A lot of fun!
