Tank raid

Танковые баталии в самом минимальном исполнении. Раннером это конечно сложно назвать, так как мы сами управляем передвижением и стрельбой. Едем влево-вправо по чёрной земле с травой, пока не повстречаем вражескую единицу техники на своём пути. Побеждаем в перестрелке и едем дальше, фиксируя новые рекорды пройденной дистанции. Не забываем уклоняться от атак сверху, хотя с такими габаритами это будет сложно. Дуло танка поднимается и опускается, что в теории даёт шанс на попадание в самолёт, но я не проверял, можно ли его уничтожить. Главное преимущество нашего танка - возможность ремонта, без неё даже 100 метров дистанции покажется вечностью, так как уже третье прицельное попадание похоронит наш экипаж. Вот и вся игра: едем, перестреливаемся, уклоняемся, лечимся, едем дальше. Конкретных целей нет, как и вообще какого-то контента, кроме описанного выше. Наскучило через 15 минут, как только получил все достижения. Где-нибудь в 1985 году эта игра могла произвести впечатление, но не сегодня уж точно.

Tank Raid is a small 2D game with very little replayability. It's a good buy for achievement hunters, but a terrible buy for anyone seeking enjoyment from a game. If you like being bored, then this game would be right up your street. You drive a tank (or rather, a silhouette of a tank) from left to right. Enemy tanks appear, which you can shoot at, and there are enemy planes, which try to drop bombs on you. The enemy tanks are easy to kill - just stop when you see the tank barrel appear at the right edge of the screen, and shoot 2 or 3 times. When a plane appears you can just drive back a bit, and the bomb it drops will explode harmlessly in front of you. I was pretty much over this game within about 3 minutes of gameplay, but I stuck with it, and ended up driving over 1000 metres - but that was more than enough for me (it had been about 9 minutes of gameplay at that stage), so I left the game running for a while longer so that I could write this review (if memory serves me correctly, Steam requires at least 15 min. of game time from reviewers). Tank Raid describes itself as "a dizzying tank runner", but it looks to be more like someone's first try at making a game (or close enough thereto). The game's description on the Steam store page is quite misleading, as Tank Raid is just a repetitive runner game, although someone certainly had a "dizzying" amount of chutzpah to describe it as a "dizzying" game of anything. If I ever have my brain transplanted with a potato, then I might just play this game again. Otherwise, you can forget about it. Playing Tank Raid was a waste of my time. In all good conscience, I couldn't recommend this game to anyone.

Not worth a cent. The whole gameplay is driving in one direction. Extremly boring and not recomended
