Tank Game is fun little battle royale arena game where you play as a variety of silly tanks and fight your friends to be the last one standing- er... driving? The game is only local multiplayer, but you can play with others globally using Remote Play or things that work similarly. A simple game with simple mechanics. Hours of explosive fun! Main notes:

Simple aesthetic for most things
Many silly, creative tanks
Only local multiplayer (unless using Remote Play or something similar)
2-8 Players (not single-player (yet?))
Pros:

Simple controls
Unique, diverse "fighters"
Nice visual effects
Lobster
Cool credits area
A tank that doubles as a d20 roller
Explosions
Wallhacks only with one tank, and they are intentional
Cons:

Few music tracks
A little too plain, at some parts
Slight lack of consistency with object materials (some are flat colored, some have patterns/textures)
Inconsistency with object polygon count (some things are more detailed and/or round than others)
Getting up is hard sometimes
I can't tell which trees are guilty
Grapple Tank
10/10 would lob again

I review Local Multiplayer Games that have from 5 to 8 Players. My Curator name is "Party Game Reviews," check it out for more of my reviews of similar party games. I was happy to try this game, because an 8 player split screen game sounds hectic and fun. It was not. Besides not all controllers working and some controllers that controlled two tanks simultaneously, it was no fun. I did not enjoy the mechanics of the game, felt very sluggish and I kept getting stuck upside down. Game needs a lot of work to be a decent playable game. Cannot recommend this game, but if updates are released, I will check it out in the future again.
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
"Tank Game" is a laughably badly made PvP tank arena shooter with some of the worst game assets and visuals on the entire Steam store. Seriously, half an hour in Blender, I'm guessing. What do you do in the game? Well, nothing, there are no players. But if there were, it would be some of the worst tank arena shooting ever made. The developer knows games like War Thunder and World of Tanks exist, right? Why even make this? Nobody wants "existing game but worse"! The "game" here, such as it is, is of a pretty low technical standard. The implementation is basic, minmimum effort stuff, more like a 'weekend project' rather than a commercial/professional product... it's bad even compared to most amateur made games. An experimental piece... and the experiment is "can I spend $100 on Steam Direct and then call myself a game dev?" While that $100 spend on Steam Direct probably made the developers feel good about themselves, we have to ask why this kind of thing is good for gamers. The graphics here are particularly awful, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. Even though the game looks pretty bad (and decent visuals are a minimum requirement for any game), we can be fairly sure this is not an asset flip. This is because the game assets look so bad, no self respecting asset creator would publish them. That's a fail. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets of any level of quality usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. This game is fairly dated at 5 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $10 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead.
It started innocently enough. Tank Game looked like any other free download — blocky graphics, repetitive explosions, nothing special. I thought it’d be a way to blow off steam after work. The first few rounds were fun, even addicting. The sound of shells firing, the thrill of a kill streak, the metallic clank of victory — it all felt satisfying. But the more I played, the more the game pulled me in. It was like the tanks weren’t just fighting on-screen; they were invading my mind. After a week, sleep felt optional. I’d wake up, play a few matches, and before I knew it, the sun was rising again. The game whispered in my head — not literally at first, but I started hearing the engine sounds when the game wasn’t running. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw the desert map, the burning husks of other tanks. I stopped showing up to work. My boss called once, then twice, then stopped altogether. I told myself I didn’t need that job anymore. Tank game was all that mattered. The bills piled up as quickly as my in-game deaths. I ignored them. I stopped answering the door. My fridge went empty, but I barely noticed. When the power company finally cut me off, I wasn’t even mad — just horrified that I couldn’t play. I remember screaming into the dark, slamming my keyboard, begging the black screen to come back to life. The silence was worse than any loss. That night, I packed what I could carry, my laptop included, and found a café with free Wi-Fi. That’s where I kept playing. Days blurred into weeks. My reflection in the café window stopped looking like me — pale, hollow-eyed, twitching at every explosion. I started sleeping on benches near outlets, plugging in whenever I could. People gave me looks, whispered, crossed the street. I didn’t care. But then the game began to change. Enemies started calling me by name. Maps I’d never seen appeared — a twisted version of my old apartment, my street, my job. When my tank exploded, I’d hear my own scream echo through the speakers. I tried uninstalling it once, but when I reopened the laptop, Tank Game was still there — waiting. Now I sit in an alley with nothing but that same flickering screen. The game doesn’t end anymore. I can’t tell where it stops and I begin. Every time I blink, I see the crosshair hovering over me. Somewhere, deep inside the code, my name sits beside a list of others — players who never logged off. And I realize, with a cold sinking feeling, that maybe Tank Game didn’t just ruin my life. Maybe it’s still playing me.
Its better than world of tanks
