Tank Battle: North Africa

Very good game 7/10

I loved this game. Almost 60 hours of fun. Yeah, it's sort of 'Strategy Lite,' but that's OK for me. The war in Africa is a great setting for a game and this title does not disappoint, I swear I had sunburn after the first 20 hours or so. I played the game on Standard difficulty, and it was just right for me - challenging enough to not be boring, yet not so hard as to be a pain in the butt. I personally chose to play it with 'Historical Mode' turned on, it made the AI just a little bit smarter without making it bulletproof or anything. OK, here's the honest truth about the challenge of 'Standard' difficulty: several missions were a little straight forward, even on the easy side, but then you hit upon some that, in my opinion, were really quite tough, and took a few attempts to complete. However, the game has replay-ability. I liked it enough I could see coming back for 'Hard' difficulty. I probably would have right away, but I decided to move onto another title in the series, Tank Battle: Eastern Front. As much as I loved North Africa, I think I love the Russian setting even more, though I am only about 10 or 12 hours into it so far. Also, when you complete a mission, you are rewarded with 2 or 3 medals. I only earned 2 many times, I could see replaying some missions to go for that 3rd medal... I suppose I should mention I am a bit of a HexWar Games veteran: I've played 2 of their American Civil War games, and also Ancient Battle: Alexander, as in Alexander The Great. I've enjoyed all of them :)

its not balanced even on easy. When i play games i like testing difficulties play one beat it move to next then so on. normally you would think even on easy you wouldn't get overpowered. i've seen a ton of mission failures because of that in both of their tank battle games. I was also dissapointed it didn't really get based on anything. I think with polish and stuff the games could be better.

Take command as the British Commonwealth and U.S. forces fight the Germans in the North African theatre and lead your battalion to victory in challenging tactical battles.

Reminds me of the glory days of my youth, playing Avalon Hill's "Panzer Leader/Blitz". Not quite the same as facing someone across the table, but a decent time-waster. What better praise can there be?

Po aktualizacji z dnia 1 listopada 2024 roku nie można uruchomić gry. Nareszcie działa. Są błędy. Po wygranej bitwie ma się 0 pkt. Tak jak i przeciwnik. Dziwne to ! ZNOWU NIE DZIAŁA TAK JAK INNE GRY HEXWARA.

As with most games from Hexwar there's no messing around 'building your empire', you just get straight into battle....marvellous.

基本一样玩法的战棋类游戏发布了好几个 每个都不算便宜，加起来都快有好几部3A游戏的价格了 但实际内容，战斗简陋，基本上就靠逐一歼灭各个击破，外加拼RP比伤害，可玩性太差了

不是很喜欢这种类型 不过拿来搞成就还是可以的
