Tales of Aravorn: Seasons Of The Wolf

Понравились персонажи и сюжет основной игры (не дополнения). Персонажи получают уровни, у них есть класс и система развития, в отличие от большинства визуальных новелл. Не понравились бои. Их много, и они довольно похожи. Сначала еще есть какой-то интерес, но стоит выработать стратегию, и она так и не изменится до конца игры. В дополнении попытались что-то с этим сделать, изменив командный состав, но оно слишком короткое. К тому же сюжет дополнения безнадежно провисает. Бои с одинаковыми противниками надоедают сразу же, а их нужно 12-18 в зависимости от сложности. С другой стороны говорильня, такая же бесконечно повторяющаяся и без всякого значимого выбора. В общем, самой игре я бы поставила твердую 8 из 10, а вот дополнение было совершенно лишним, и больше чем на 5 из 10 не тянет.

so far im having tons of fun with this game. it is a little different then what im used to with their other games but it isnt a bad thing. you get to choose between 2 heros although the one you dont play as will be in the story as your twin which is cool although its a bit sad at the begining because everyone pretty much abandons you except for your sibling and a family friend. i like how there are different outfits for the different classes because it helps you to get more into the game and you dont have to worry about looking like a warrior when your a thief. the only thing im a little sad about is that there isnt many romance options. there are 2 romances for each gender, although i do like them because they are full of live and lots of fun. i definitely do reccomend this game to everyone ^.^

Suffers from some pacing issues, but once it gets going, the game's pretty good.

Hello Steam user who is wondering if this Winter Wolves visual novel is worth their time. I tell you right now that in humble opinion, even if it doesn't quite live up to its predecessor, I believe it is. Also don't be misled by the number of hours I've played, I've played way longer than eight minutes it's just was on a different account. Pros – the characters. Once again, Winter Wolves has knocked it out of the park with the characters. So far in all of their games that I've played, that seems to be the one consistent besides good art. It actually really telling in this game in particular because many of the core characters in this game seem to be amalgamations of character from Loren. For example, the twins are basically Saren and/or Elenor (this is to be expected of course since they are the player characters), Krimm is a combination of Loren and Amukiki and Riley is a far more competent version of Draco with Rei's confidence and a splash of Dora's money lust. Even though I can see where the inspirations for their personalities came from they are definitely unique enough to stand on their own as characters. – Art. Again this is Winter Wolves so one thing they've always been consistently good at is great art direction and this game is definitely not an exception as it looks gorgeous but also distinct. And they really beefed up the background art in which I think is great because it there was one complaint I had about the art in Loren it was that the background started looking really samey after a while. Not a problem here lots of variety. I still wish there were more CGs and especially in a gallery to look at them. – Music. Again they did very good. Appropriately fantasy sounding but also making it distinct so it doesn't sound generic or too heavily reliant on their previous game. Cons – Story/execution... Okay it might be unfair to put this in this category but the story could've been better. In fact it have a lot of great potential and the first two seasons of winter and spring were fabulous. It's when we get to summer that things start dragging really noticeably. Now actually like the summer part because those missions with the pirates were fun and silly but storywise? They are really unnecessary especially for the sheer amount that there are and just really drag down the pacing. They honestly feel like side stories that got crammed in to make the game longer not to mention this is where a lot of the romance gets build up in the story and I really wish they could've work that in more organically like they did with Loren. – The achievements. Now I love when games have achievements but unfortunately the way they set up the achievements in this game is very frustrating since you are forced to play either on hard or extreme and most of them are boss battle ones which I guess are fine but I personally find they could've been more creative not to mention more on varied settings so the player isn't trapped on the harder levels. Neutral – the battle mechanics. I put these under neutral because there really simple and I think most turn-based fans will understand them pretty quick. All in all a good follow-up if not perfect. I definitely recommend if your Loren fan or just like fantasy, nice art and turn-based combat. Also recommend definitely getting the DLC for this one as it expands on the romance that you picked as well as the general story and some cool world building.

9/10 one of the best rpg game, I have ever played. IMO it is alot better then even Loren ,and I liked Loren, but i love this one.

The story and music are well done and like most Winter Wolf game time consuming. The battle in the story have different difficulty settings for many types of players which is always nice to see in any game. A very well done game that is sure to grab your attention multiple times through out the game.

Another great leisure clicker rpg game. If ya need a break from the other big time rpg/games, this is it. I enjoy Winterwolves games, good story, character customizing and very creative.

This game is excellent in many aspects, for example, the story is unique, unpredictable, and wholesome, all characters are carefully and thoroughly crafted. DLC is a must buy, it feel like a saga of the hero/ heroine band and make the gameplay totally completing and satisfying great!! I love this mature writing in story telling, character development, but still full of witty, funny and charming style. I love the "betray" theme, that's why all characters are built with flaws, I can't say I love them all, that Krimm is totally rotten egg, I hate her character but I still greatly approve of how the developer's perfectly built up her twisted past. Still, I believe she hasn't paid enough for her despicable crime, in the end, she is still keep her double standard and arrogant attitude and no one call her out. On the other hand, the non romanceable characters like Vaelis and especially Rowinda are the star of the show. When I first saw them in trailer, I thought their looks are strangely mediocre (Rowinda look old and crazy and Vaelis look like a chubby uncle) and somehow, they got all of my attention and affection. The two are adorable, interesting, their story are even better than some of the romanceable characters. I think that's one of the thing I love about this game, the developer really make every characters shine uniquely bright. I'm hoping to see Vaelis and Rowinda again in Aravorn sagas. Music background are scarcely, but the theme song, oh I love theme song so much, it fit perfectly with the story and because of how rarely it appear, so when it appeared in the end of the DLC, it make the end even more epic. Romance writing is quite good, it's mature. Compare to Loren game, this is a little bit less hearthrob in the main game but the DLC save it all. So, again, DLC is a must buy!!!! Combat in hard and nightmare mode are tricky and challenging, I love itttttttt, it's well worth my time Choices are totally make a different in game experiences, the choices are all real!! (I have to say this because I was tricked buying many fake choices VN games, it's frustrating) I give this game 10/10 plot, 10/10 characters and 9/10 romance plot !!! I'm a diehard fan already!!
