Played the beta 6 years ago, now 6 years later I am shocked to find that nothing much changes, and it's still in EA... Tale of Toast is pretty much toasted dead by now... It's from the time where Kickstarter was a thing, but instead of Kickstarting they went another step further in greed and used Patreon, which required their "fan" to pay them monthly to "support" them. So it's 100% open greed cash grabbing from the start. Seemed like nothing changed much about this part and the "fans" finally realize this type of greed design only goes to a dead end and finally abandoned them... Well... the devs pretty much abandoned the game itself already by this stage... If you like these type of Chibi visual, go try Gocco of War (also here on Steam), at least you still find players to play with during weekends there, and although 3 years OLDER than this game, it looks way better.
The mere fact that the game scales dungeons to your level absolutely cripples solo play. The questline for all intents and purposes ends at the first main dungeon of the game. At that point you just wander the world, leveling up pointlessly and trying to level up all of your crafting stats, even though with no real way to progress, you actually cannot make meaningful use of your gear. I am Level 27 with a Level 30 greatsword in the bank. That Level 30 greatsword is likely never leaving that bank, because at this point there is no real incentive for me to get any further levels. I WILL give them this though: they did the right thing by throwing away the crypto.

A simple and adorbs game. ^_^
BEST KIND MMORPG SO CHILLING PVE AND PVP MAKES U THINK ABOUT RESOURCES AND WHICH SKILL HAVE U TO USE ALSO THE CRAFTING I LOVE IT 10/10 FOR ME
The game is dead both in terms of players and updates. Also, this is definitely a grind fest type game. This being said, I would actually recommend this game. I think if you think the game looks cool, or you watched Josh Strife Hayes' video on it and thought maybe he was too harsh (even though he even showed unedited footage), you should give it a go. Play until you aren't having fun anymore and then uninstall. It's free. You can have an evening of fun. You can even do this with a group of friends and all have fun together.
"Tale of Toast" — это замечательная история о дружбе, любви и неожиданной судьбе. Каждый персонаж уникален, а сюжет наполнен удивительными поворотами. Я был поражён тем, как автор передаёт атмосферу через детали. Чтение заставило задуматься о ценности простых радостей. Рекомендую всем!

Stop what you're doing and seek out Jesus H. Christ. This is a cryptominer.
