This is my ideal idle game. There are two modes, passive and active, so I can watch my plants grow at a real life or gaming pace. Re-potting them as they grow, and pruning and propagating them is extremely satisfying. And all of the items available, which change daily, keeps this game fresh. The furniture and room are all extremely customizable, which was a nice surprise! I look forward to opening the game every day, and I can't wait to see how great my little plant room will look months from now!
just not my kind of game, and even if it were it's definitely overpriced. I played it for like a month, I really gave it a chance but it just got more and more disappointing... the gameplay is as follows: you get 1 small room to grow your plants in, then you check in like once a day (i did mornings and evenings, but there was barely anything to do) to see if any need watering/pruning/repotting. you can sell your plants to make money, and you spend that money on new plants, pots, and furniture (which add nothing to the gameplay). i have reached a point in the game where i have access to all the plants (this is a game ABOUT plants. THERE ARE ONLY TEN PLANTS. WTF.) and i am sick of saving up the miniscule amounts of money you get just so i can occasionally grab a new dresser. having to constantly reorganise the plants (as they need to be repotted fairly often and the bigger pot the plant's now in usually doesn't fit in the previous location anymore. so now you have to shuffle around all of your other plants to find a spot large enough AND at the right light level (reminder: all those plants you're reorganising need to be placed at the exact right light level too!! and the way light level is calculated isn't consistent at all)) is deeply frustrating and finicky, not calming. and the monstera plant. OH THE MONSTERA PLANT. it 1) doesn't look like its thumbnail and 2) HATES being alive, apparently: it starts out with one big leaf. cool! then, after a while and one repotting, no other leaves have grown. okay, weird but okay... THEN the little description tells me the plant is unhappy as it doesn't have enough leaves. whose fault is that, plant, huh?? but fine, i continue to make sure water and light levels are always good. after another two days or so the description tells me the plant is sick, because it hasn't been at ideal conditions. AGAIN, not my fault the plant is refusing to grow new leaves, but surely it'll recover if i just keep it at a good level, right?? NEXT I GET TEXT SAYING THAT THERE ARE "too many dead leaves", in addition to the "sick" status. I look at the one (1) leaf. It is brown. The growth rate meter is at the very bottom. if i prune the dead leaf, the now empty stalk is listed as "dead" the next time I log in. if i do not prune the dead leaf, upon the next login the plant, complete with the one and only leaf it had when i bought it and the only one it EVER HAD, is now ALSO listed as "dead". WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME PLANT. WHY DO YOU KEEP DYING. WHY. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO DIFFERENTLY. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA (at least i can sell its corpse for a little bit of money T-T worth it??? (no)) (p.s. attaching my specs as the game was pretty laggy even at the lowest graphics settings, i was getting 10ish fps on average with random lag spikes that meant my inputs were off/not recognised (really annoying when i was trying to prune my plants). not sure why as this doesn't seem like it should be a resource-heavy game but yeah... that didn't help my experience. i hope this wasn't secretly bitcoin mining or something, tho that would explain things ahaha)
lovely. Ive had it open all day and its super cool to see the plants grow in real time. I like the "cuttings" system too. everything is really well balanced so far!
非常朴素的种花游戏,机制也简单,有挂机和即时两种模式挺好的,挂机模式适合两三天想起来看一下,但是原价购买非常不值得,建议等打折到10元以下
