4:35
I don't know how they survive in Paris I see very different landscapes I'm going through stories from books I write, I do not hurry, I carry a burden on a niche Strung on the tip of a pen. The fate of the Manager or SP Dad sorry, mom understand, all my days I burned verses on paper In the rush of daily engines You can rust or get a hernia, Or maybe the wind will blow the roof off In pursuit of the red spirit is immobilized I don't want to work for my uncle, that's enough All these uncles are inadequate Starting with those who are paid by beggars Ending with those who are in the accounting chamber, and by the way I don't care about the mortgage collar For a friend to buy a dress White, for a wedding Pure as conscience To write a novel, not a story God knows what awaits us after Tomorrow is a disaster of a car Or concerts from dawn to dusk We start our day because of tact
https://youtu.be/osAWmVgJmdY
I really like the idea of isometric dungeon crawlers. The person placing the traps and possessing the enemies is also great, however even with this patch some enemies still feel very weak or very slow. A single player can easily out weave around them all. On Aegis map, enemies can spawn hidden behind a wall which makes picking them difficult as you still can't switch between them while in control. Also while I had no troubles making a lobby as the defence, for some reason why I see a lobby to join as a runner, it boots me back to the menu. Really digging the art direction and music though!

Surely a good game with a good idea behind it, BUT: the AI not always works, sometimes the enemies stand still and they don't do a single movement. You can counter all enemies shooting from long distance so they don't see you and you can clear the floor pretty easily and quick
interesting concept, not very fun though
Synthbiotic Dungeon is a student project made by students from the University of Utah. It's a 2D top down/isometric twin stick shooter where you and other players run through a generic sci-fi procgen dungeon. There's a gimmick where one player can play the defense and possess the enemies and place traps in the sci-fi dungeon. This isn't terrible for a student project but it does fail on a lot of basic requirements for a modern PC game. Resolution is locked and can't be changed, and while there's graphics tweaks, it's just 5 different options going up to "Cinematic". What does that even mean? So that's a fail. Likewise controls are locked, there's no customisation, which can render the game unplayable for some gamers. That's not okay. The graphics look okay and there's no asset flipping going on. Gameplay, being an iso shooter, is pretty mediocre and unsatsifying. The game features no proper level design or game/story flow/plot, as they opted to try to use samey repetitive procgen algorithms as a substitute for adding such content to the game. As a result, the game doesn't actually have any content worth mentioning, just endless, boring, repetitive, soulless algorithmically generated sameyness. Developers must learn that procedural generation is not an acceptable substitute for content. While there's PvE elements, the focus of the game is multiplayer, and that's a bust, because nobody plays the game (SteamDB shows weeks go by before anyone even launches this). I understand the purpose of this is not to make a game for gamers, it's an educational project for students. But that's also a big problem. Steam isn't a school. It's not your parents refrigerator where we pin up games with fridge magnets. It's for gamers. I can't recommend this.
I'd recommend this game, it's a fun dungeon crawler game with a cool concept, you either progress though it as a runner or as a sentinel try to hinder and stop the progress of your rivals. you can play up to four, three as runners and one as a sentinel. It has a nice ambiance, a good music and the gameplay is fun. And it's free. It will get even better with few tweaks and fixes, which i think it's already being worked on but nonetheless it is already a pretty solid student game. Overall it's a cool concept and it is a pleasant game to play with friends, had fun playing it. Good job devs!
Interesting concept that needs a lot more polish
all the positive reviews are about its potential. the game hasnt been updated in over a year. just dont bother lol
Let me Say this: BLOODY BRILLIANT! But a few things first: This game needs a overall, needs Voice Chat, Reloads & Health Pickups. Other than that this game is fire!
