Very basic software: no selecting where you want to save files; no help explaining how to use it; no way of adding "hits" (left/right/both/special balls) during playback, and the worst one: the Save function crashes well over 50% of the time. On that last point, I cannot even use Beat Editor anymore because of of the amount of work I've lost over and over again. Love the game, want to love this tool but cannot, not until they add some basic file functionality and eliminate the dreaded "This file could not be saved" bug.
absolutely fantastic extension of the dancer mind. beautifully laid out, not cluttered, intuitive. fantastic editor
I'm not er..not recommending this to be spiteful or because I think generally it's really rubbish - because it's trying very hard not to be. However; The game Synth Riders itself? Bloody good fun. Editing with the custom song editor? Not so much. I've only used it for about 32 minutes to attempt to put mapping to a bootleg remix I put together, and I found mixing the music easier than mapping the beatmap to the track for the game. It's a ghastly tricky affair, involving a lot of guesswork for the most part despite the F1 help which doesn't really seem to help all that much. I'd like to be able to play the track and add the mapping as it goes along, but this for some reason doesn't seem possible - which to me is either because I'm blind and I missed that I can actually do that, or it really needs implementing to make the job so much more easier than it currently is. I'm allowing comments because hopefully someone can tell me it is because I missed that!
Nada mais nada menos que um EDITOR para CUSTOM SONGS oficiais do Synth Riders e isso é extremamente Foda! ainda mais com suporte ao Oculus Quest 2 nessa questão para quem não pode jogar no PC
I had an idea for mapping a song in Beat Saber, but bailed out as soon as I found out there's no in-editor way to offset (their BPM manual was a long-scroll of complexity). Fired up Synth Riders beatmap editor, there's an offset measurement right there, and without reading a manual I was able to throw down orbs, rails, and winged-it to get what I envisioned within about 5 minutes! I've made unranked beatmaps for osu! probably 10 years ago and also winged-it without reading guides. That didn't happen with Beat Saber's official editor. This Synth riders beatmap editor makes sense and feels natural to make a map with, and paired with custom song support allowed by-default on Meta Quest standalone (unlike Beat Saber needing BMBF/MBF), I'm liking the idea of mapping for Synth Riders!

What's up with the tutorial videos? There is no sound. I've tried viewing them on 2 different computers (Mac and PC) and there is no sound. This shouldn't be a separate PC app to map out custom songs. If Synth Riders is to be a fully immersive application, the mapping should be done within the application itself so the user can test their design while immersed, just as it is in the app Audio Trip. It is very tedious to have to do this on a separate app on a PC. I had to literally add Windows to my iMac just to use this application. Also, the app is buggy. Within every song I've mapped I've come across the error message when placing the Flash/Light effect for special dual hand, and special single hand notes telling me that there needs to be at least 1 second between flash/light effect placement. Every time I've come across this message, I have had NO placements with less than 1 second between the Flash/Light effect. This literally has caused me to uninstall the application and reinstall it to see if that will allow for the flash/light effect to be placed where I want them to enhance the game play experience for the song I'm mapping. That is extremely frustrating. The only reason I'm marking this app as "recommended" is because there is no way for a player to map out their custom content other than to use this app.
