Introduction Sydney's World is a jrpg(japanese rpg) like the description says. it has a catching story and big gameplay time.one good point of this game is that sydney(main character) and the villains only are voice acted. Using a navigation by hints,the game surprised me because most of rpg maker games has random encounters with monsters and the great soundtrack makes this rpg great for all your family. Overall Sydney's world can be a fantastic game if you are finding a game to play with your family,because it's cheap and has many content to explore. without a random and repetitive gameplay. If you're after a light game to play with your kids, or looking for something your child could play on their own time, Sydney's World is a great addition to your game library. All the content is age-appropriate without being condescending, and could easily be enjoyed as a team playthrough with a kid. Since it's an older-styled RPG, the story is primarily told through text, which makes it a good tool for a kid or young adult to improve their reading skills. To ensure continuous engagement, however, there is occasional voice acting to liven up certain characters, beautiful art to help set the scene for major transitions, a custom soundtrack of music to get the player in the right mood, puzzles to challenge the player's other cognitive abilities, and some simple battles to break up the flow of everything. For players who really want to go in-depth, there are also a handful of chapters of stories you can find around the game and quotes from a couple philosophers. For the parent-child team, these can be entertaining asides or possible avenues for critical thinking and discussion - "Do you agree with this? Disagree? Why?" This is not a game for players who are into fast-paced games that reward constant input - most of the puzzles will test your memory through a series of trial and error, and character management is not a focus of the game. Battles will be very straight-forward, so if your kid plays a lot of games and is looking for something with a lot of in-depth strategy and rules, they may have difficulty engaging. However, for those who are patient and enjoy exploration and interacting with the game world, this should be a good educational supplement that the family can enjoy together.

It has really awesome artwork, a very interresting story and very challenging bosses, which will lead to a negative, if you're not familiar with rpgs. The later bosses can be really tough and overwhelming, if you're not at least advanced in rpgs. One boss is luck based, but I don't want to spoil this boss. :) The mapping looks great, but are often only edited automaps. The voiceacting was really enjoyable, sadly there was only a few spoken actors. But the game should train your reading skills and there it really does a great job. It even helped me to read faster and more flawless and I'm not even native english speaking. For gamelength I can't complain at all, 16 hours are a pretty decent gametime. :) I really liked the story, it was really interresting to follow and had a lot of surprises for the player. Sydney's world is the perfect first videogame for a child. As I don't have children myself, I've watched the game played extesnivley and can vouch for its claim of being an excellant learning to read tool. The game is best played with a parent because some of the words (depending on the age of the player) will need to be explained to children. However, the best part of the game is that it reinforces kids to read and be excited to learn.

The game is quite good and I really like it. There is plenty of puzzles which are not obvious and can provide a decent challenge. The avatar art doesn't seem to match but it is still good, the story is quite intriguing. Can be hard to follow at first but it keeps you interested. Overall, the game is well done and I highly recommend it, especially at the listed price.
