Syder Reloaded

Своеобразная, относительно сложная игра без продолжений, то есть необходимо засесть на несколько часов чтобы нормально отыграть миссию, даже не ясно есть ли окончание или приключения бесконечны, что тоже вымораживает. В общем относительно странная и специфическая космическая леталка. Вы заперты в корридоре, в котором и происходит вся движуха. Различного рода штормовые образование, враги, волны нашествий разнообразного рода и силы противников. В общем первое впечатление ну ОК, интерсно, потом надоедает и относитльно быстро. К стати игра тупит и подвисает на некоторых уровнях с большим количеством разнообразных объектов на экране. Т.е. заявленных максимальных характеристик явно не хватит, либо это не оптимизированная и недоработанная игра!

I love Shmups but in this the ship controls like it swims through molasses. In addition, in a Defender style game where you have a giant tunnel ... enemies have to spawn right next to you instead of spawning on the far left/right side of the tunnel, so you can prepare for what is coming. I also didn't like that all you will get is 8 ships where each has its own "bomb" move that can't be switched and a basic main weapon it starts with. That main weapon can be changed while playing, but the power-up that lets you do so flips through all the different options so fast that you can't reliably pick what you want. In addition I had originally problems to get my Steam 2026 Controller working, because I had a few other controllers also plugged in. In such a case, the game randomly decides which one it takes as the main one, and you can't change this. You have to go into the folders and delete a folder, unplug all controllers ... only leaving the controller you intent to play with in and start the game. From then forward it memorized which controller it is you want to use. But not only that, the game lacks any setup that allows you to change button configuration ... in 2020 we have a game releasing that does not allow the reconfiguration of buttons. A thing that was solved in the early 90s ... can't be done ~30 years later. Nice!

Ottimo Shoot'em UP orizzontale del già ottimo Syder. Buon livello di sfida e molto carina l'idea di introdurre vari effetti video "retro" come Amiga HAM

Hat mich damals schon sehr angesprochen wegen der Musik ,aber das Remake ist wegen der besseren Grafik auch echt ein guter Spaceshooter geworden,macht Spass gerade mit der Mucke im Hintergrund sich durch die feindlichen Schwärme zu ballern,nur schade das man die OST nicht als Dateianhang gemacht hat aber ich würde auch ein paar Euro zahlen wenn das Album als DLC rauskommen würde ,kann man natürlich auch bei you tube bekommen aber aus erster Hand ist die Qualität natürlich besser

Thank god, they didn't change the basic style from Syder Arcade: it's the same cosy retro arcade feeling! Music and sound effects are superb! Graphics have many retro modes like C64, Amiga, 8Bit, etc. The best "modern" in "ultra" ist good enough for Arcade, but I would love to see a more blleding edge mode with ray traced ships, bullets, asteroids, ... :-) So, almost perfect, but the fixed keyboard layout is not optimal because the special weapon on "Z" is bad for german keyboard layouts - hope for an update to make the keys configurable. Other than that: a gorgeous side scrolling shooter at it's best! :-)
