Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 17 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
I cannot recommend the game in its current state.
When it works, it works and feels amazing - it's a very neat and very very very beautiful platformer, but most of the time it DOESN'T work as intended. It's very hard to hit consistent frames on a FullHD screen, it's outright unplayable on the Steam Deck, the only graphical settings are the quality (from low to ultra which doesn't change anything performance-wise) and resolution scale that in my case made it somewhat playable but as soon as I got to second location my GPU stopped handling it well. UE5 at it's finest I guess. I'm sure it's a lot of fun but not with recommended specs, maybe with all of the components from a generation or 2 higher than listed.

i think i got more parasympathetic sighs playing this than reading a book
I'm only sad when very few games come to an end. Usually I'm happy to have reached the credits, but with this one it was the exact opposite—I was genuinely sad that the journey was already over. The visuals are absolutely beautiful and fit the atmosphere of the game perfectly. Every environment feels thoughtfully crafted and invites you to slow down and simply enjoy the world. On top of that, the gameplay is incredibly enjoyable. It's relaxing, engaging, and always makes you want to keep going just a little longer. This was a truly special experience, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

one of the best games ive ever played 10/10
It’s like Journey and ABZÛ had a baby… and this beautiful little gem was born. Sword of the Sea isn’t just a game — it’s an experience. From the breathtaking visuals and atmospheric world design to the moving soundtrack, everything works together to create something truly special. The controls feel smooth, the movement and flow are effortless, and there’s a sense of discovery that pulls you in without needing to say a word. The lore feels like it belongs in the same emotional universe as Journey, ABZÛ, and The Pathless — a quiet, mysterious story that lets you interpret and feel rather than simply explains everything. It is a little short, but honestly, I don’t mind. Sometimes leaving you wanting more is the mark of something that truly understands its own magic. I finished it feeling completely in awe. Huge respect to the creative minds and developers who brought this experience to life. Thank you for creating something that feels less like a product and more like a gift. P.S. I’m honestly not sure why some people mentioned frame rate issues in their reviews. My PC isn’t exactly a cutting-edge monster, and I was able to run the game on Ultra settings without a single hiccup. Maybe there are some hardware-specific issues out there, but my experience was absolutely flawless.
