Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 17 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
From the visionary artist behind ABZÛ, The Pathless, and Journey – Sword of the Sea is an atmospheric surfing adventure with highspeed Hoversword movement inspired by skateboarding and snowboarding.
Carve your way forward on the ancient and powerful Hoversword, which moves like a snowboard, skateboard, and surfboard all in one. It’s the perfect balance of exhilarating action and fluid, meditative movement.
Explore a world where the land flows in constant waves. From massive tides to the smallest ripples, the shifting sea of dunes is incredibly detailed and beautifully rendered. Surf across sandy deserts, glacial mountains, and many more undulating environments full of secrets in this incredible adventure.
You are the Wraith – resurrected in the desolate Necropolis on a quest to unveil the ancient sea buried beneath the land. Discover the remnants of a lost culture hidden in sinking tombs and skatepark-like ruins as you search for purpose. Transform sandy dunes into glittering, emerald waters and witness magical sealife return in huge, breathtaking shoals. Feel the spiritual magic of surfing as you connect with nature and restore life – but beware, there is also darkness lurking under the waves.

After playing ABZU I was looking forward to this and it didn't disappoint! Fun gameplay with some literal breath taking visuals.
Excellent, tout simplement.
A must play and 100% worth the price. One of the most beautiful games I have ever played. Gorgeous, great soundtrack, and a wonderous experience. Challenging at times, but once you get the hang of the controls, it is such a satisfying feeling to pull off tricks and smoothly glide around like the amazing world of this game. 10/10

very great game! i love giant squid games. they’re just so masterful at making games that are very beautiful, with engaging gameplay, and a great soundtrack. not to put another game down but i kept comparing this game to the last game i played, Mixtape, where they were trying so hard to make a game through dialogue and animation but the gameplay wasn’t engaging and there were no stakes. Sword of the Sea is a much better game all around with no dialogue at all. it’s been making me think about what actually makes a good game. i the sword tricks were so fun to mess with that i almost wish it was longer with more in depth mechanics to learn with difficulty. if i remember correctly, this ending was a little less great compared to The Pathless which had a Shadow of the Colossus boss theme? overall, highly recommend. this has been at the top of my list for a good while and it was very worth it. however major points deductions for how bad it runs. needs major optimization.
The best movement game I have ever played. Riding the Hoversword feels incredibly smooth and satisfying. The visuals are absolutely stunning. I really enjoyed exploring the world, finding hidden paths and Secret Shells. I also loved the creative optional time challenges. The movement takes some time to learn, but when you get it, it's pure WHEEEEE! 😄 I finished the story and immediately went back to explore the earlier chapters again. Absolutely worth the price. Highly recommended!
As the store lists like other games Matt Nava has worked on, this game is an experience to just enjoy in the moment. Without spoiling the story I feel it really opens the world that captured me when playing Journey for the first time. The controls feel amazing and fluid, and while I would like the tricks more spread out on the commands its perfectly serviceable while dropping into a halfpipe to shoot right out and combo out some tricks. For the experience and replayability I think its well worth the price!
Absolutely lovely and fun game :)
Staves off the bad vibes - 15/10, an absolute privilege to play.
Sword of the Sea — Sirius Gaming Review ★★★★★ 10/10 Reviewed by Sirius Gaming Affiliated with Paws 2 Da Wall (P2DW) There are games that entertain you, games that challenge you, and then there are games that leave you genuinely captivated by the experience. Sword of the Sea is firmly in that third category. From the moment you begin your journey, Sword of the Sea delivers an experience that feels less like simply playing a video game and more like stepping into a living work of art. Its breathtaking environments, fluid movement, atmospheric soundtrack, and beautifully crafted world come together to create something truly special. The movement is one of the game's greatest strengths. Gliding effortlessly across sand, water, and expansive landscapes creates an incredible sense of freedom and momentum. There is a satisfying rhythm to exploration that makes simply moving through the world enjoyable in its own right. Visually, Sword of the Sea is stunning. Every environment feels thoughtfully designed, with enormous landscapes that encourage you to stop, look around, and appreciate the world you're traveling through. The contrast between the desolation of the environment and the life that gradually emerges throughout the journey creates a powerful sense of discovery. But what makes Sword of the Sea particularly memorable is its ability to communicate without constantly relying on dialogue or exposition. The world itself tells a story. The environments, architecture, music, and progression all contribute to an experience that feels mysterious, emotional, and deeply atmospheric. The soundtrack deserves special recognition as well. It complements the exploration beautifully without overwhelming it, helping establish the game's sense of scale and wonder. This isn't a game designed around endless combat, complicated progression systems, or competitive mechanics. Instead, Sword of the Sea focuses on exploration, movement, atmosphere, and the emotional experience of the journey. And sometimes, that's exactly what gaming needs. Final Verdict Sword of the Sea is an extraordinary example of how video games can function as an artistic medium. It is beautiful, atmospheric, immersive, and remarkably satisfying to play. For players who appreciate exploration, visual storytelling, breathtaking environments, and experiences that allow you to simply lose yourself in a world, this is an easy recommendation. Sirius Gaming Score: 10/10 An absolutely unforgettable journey — and one we're proud to recommend from Sirius Gaming and P2DW.
