More Steam Abandonware.....Still for sale???? Don't buy it. Steam needs to start giving us freaking refunds for these games they allow to release then get abandoned after the devs make a cash dash and basically steal from us. SHAME ON YOU STEAM
No contact or updates from the developer in over two years. This game is abandoned and dead.
YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE! IT WAS SAID YOU'D BE THE BEST WATERWORLD GAME OUT THERE! NOT BECOME ABANDONWARE!

************************************************** * ABANDONED PRODUCT - INCOMPLETE - DO NOT BUY * ************************************************** Last news post: 20th Dec 2018 Last developer post: 4th Jan 2019 Funnily the last developer posting states he's not abandoned the game. - Its now 16th April 2025... I think 4 and a bit years fairly states you've ACTUALLY abandoned the product. Avoid this title, save your money. This is a broken, incomplete and no longer worked on - product. Its not even a game... just that.... a product.
Garbage game. Abandoned. Needs to be taken off Steam and developer forced to issue some kind of refund. 0/10 DON'T BUY.
The game is dead no updates in years.
The devs abandoned the game, and its still in early access meaning its buggy and missing features. I can't recommend this game to anyone
no updates since 2018, only 3 hours max worth of content and thats pushing it. During last update in 2018 developer hinted at abandoning this game, now it seems he really did. dated graphics and many bugs await any still looking at buying this. so please, close the lid of this EAG's coffin turnaround and never look back...
What a shame, This game had potential. Recently checked back in on it only to see the news that the dev team dipped and there was only one dude left working on it. Seems even he gave up on it and ghosted everyone.
Was fun, but dead and abandoned. Hope in a finished product made it bearable, but it's not worth the money. Don't reward abandoned games. To clarify my stance, here are my issues with the game being left in this state: -Buggy interactions, you often have to try multiple times to interact with objects - your position moves around due to the sea waves bouncing everything around, so you're often moved too far away from what you're interacting with which closes the interface. This is the worst with merchants on outposts, trying to buy/sell something is a trial of effort if you're not at a Town where it's more stable. -The map is cluttered and it's easier to miss where you're actually positioned since your position indicator can be hidden behind map markers, and you have to search the map to find anything among a figurative sea of icons (the icons fill up the map as you scan). -- Another issue with the map is the performance issues when you're looking around the map. It's a severe performance hit and makes using the map more annoying. -The autosave feature resets your view angle, closing any interfaces and making you look in a different direction. A bit annoying, but you can set lower Autosave frequency to reduce the impact. -Aiming feels weird at longer distances, with a sniper you can miss shots on something centered in your sights, and it's not an issue of bullet drop - it feels more like you're not really looking where you think you are due to how the game renders the rise and fall of the waves. -Collecting water from your collection barrels is a LOT of clicking. There's no "collect all" button, so enjoy clicking ~50 times to fill your water bottles. -The quantity input for crafting and trading gets cut off at 3 digits, even though many items stack up to 4 digits (2,000 max stack). Seeing a "200" when it's really "2,000" is annoying, there's no comma there either. There's just a LOT of jank to this game, and it's got a really interesting premise but the execution really can be frustrating to deal with. There's not much variety in what you can find out on the ocean. I really wish the game got some Quality of Life update, reduce the jank. As it stands it's a 4/10 game experience. With the improvements it could be a solid 6/10 - not great but still enjoyable.
