Gud flash game collection. Well priced and glad we are getting game preservation like this

Armor Games has been cranking out these barebones "remasters"/making these flash games available on Steam for the first time. Sushi Cat games were another one of my coveted Steam additions, so it's great to see it on here. If you never played them, it's like if you crossed Peggle/Pachinko with cutesy Kirby aesthetics. Not really much to it gameplay wise, but they were well presented and addicting casual puzzle games that could be breezed through in 30 minutes each. The amount of content here is fine, even if it can be done in a few hours. Some of the achievements are surprisingly tough, so having that for replay value is nice. Overall, the package here is 5 very lightly touched files on a laggy Ruffle flash emulator with some Steam API, but the games are quality. If you want to throw the devs a few bones that's basically what this is for.

sushi cat is one of the childhood greats and i played these games again and again when i was a wee gart (except for the catapult game.) i day these games hold up and the art gets better with each game. i feel like sushi cat should take better care of that little stuffed animal. i also tried to play the bonus game sushi can story book world creator (or whatever its called but it loaded for over half an hour and after feeding him up and dieting him down, i searched up what the gameplay was like and it did not interest me lol. still, this is a good way to throw a couple bucks at the creators of these fun games and i had a good time. highly reccomend

I remember playing this when it was on Pogo. I highly recommend.

although the game has cloud saves it didn't actually end up saving anything, even locally. so you need to finish one of the games in one session, or all 5 at once in order to get the world creator it's too bad none of the games have a quick hotkey, rather than just the one on screen within the level but not on the end level screen the fast forward button is nice but it might as well have been a toggle it's kind of like peggle but without any of the hidden luck mechanics that help you bounce between pegs, the bounce of the sushi cat is often too random, especially as they combine with moving level elements, which often makes strategies quite ineffective the specific bonus on the boxes does not matter when compared to any other bonus, even if you got a perfect 200x multiplier each time you would still get less points than just the bonus sushi, or related box bonuses in this collection sushi cat 2 is probably best by a small margin, but it instantly loses that margin since abilities pause the game for about 2.5 seconds each time you collect them, meaning you could likely spend more time looking at the description of an ability than using it plus a good bit of the sushi is locked in places only accessible with the ability, forcing you to use them in a certain way otherwise, the games are basically the same from 1-4 sushi catapult was fun but also the shortest i suppose it's fine, it's pretty cheap for what it is, it's just not great

дивлячись на милого і водночас старенького суші - котика, мій дофамін досягає максимального рівня. яя навіть не жартую! мені дуже приємно бачити те, що одна з моїх улюбленних серій флеш - ігор невдовзі з'явилась тут. « ──────« ⋅ʚ ₊ ɞ⋅ » ────── » ✎﹏ дуже приємна гра тодішнього дитинства ... справді, я зловила дуже сильну настольгію дивлячись на всі ці милі моськи. тепер я згадала, чому в ті часи я так ним захоплювалась: мила графіка, декілька цікавих рівнів із різною механікою і, найголовніше, - пухкенький котик! я ніколи не вважала себе ярісною котолюбкою, тому завжди вибирала собак понад котів. проте після того, як я зіграла та отримала всі досягнення, я залишилася дуже задоволеною! ця жирна киця мене занадто розчулює ... навіть по при те, що розробники, мабуть, полінувалися зробити краще оформлення та додаткові функції ( по типу регулювання та покращення якості звуку, як інші люди зазначали у себе в рецензіях ), але це зовсім не вплинуло на моє загальне враження від гри. « ──────« ⋅ʚ ₊ ɞ⋅ » ────── » ₊ ˚ ପ у висновку хочу зазначити, що ця гра справді зігріває моє серце. особисто моя улюбленна частина - це sushi cat: the great purrade, і я гадаю, що багато людей знайдуть цю колекцію милою та приємною. головне - не змушувати себе грати, а насолоджуватися! ця головоломка має тверду оцінку від мене: 10 м'яких котиків з 10и!
