This is not a game, it is a bug.
Idk, I just couldn't get into it. Maybe I'll try again someday, but something about it just didn't click

WHAT DID YOU DO TO THIS GAME!!!!!!??????????????? This used to be quite a nice game. It ran well had good controller config and good fps. now it will only run smooth on windowed mode, picking up stuff, is tedious, controller config is terrible, framerate will tank randomly, what was once a pretty nice game is now a broken mess.
overall a game with great potential but suffers from bugs. When you made some progress and crushes over and over again can be very frustrating
Not worth it, the ui and control scheme is terrible.
Runs very slowly/poorly even with well above the minimum system requirements. The hit box is way off, the controls suck. It should definetely be in EA and not in full release. I saw a response from the dev saying they fixed a lot of this in a patch (and they did fix some things that a lot of people complained about), but it still runs very poorly. There are several other similar games that I would spend my money on over this.
So there probably isn't a lot I could say that hasn't already been said by other reviewers.. The game hasn't been updated since 2021 so it probably won't be.. It had a lot of potential.. There is a lot right with this game, it's exactly the kinda game I was looking for when I got it. But.. Controls- default controls are terrible. I first tried this on my steamdeck and it's entirely unplayable, so I tried it on PC and it's better, but still- you have to put your actions and your tools on the same hotbar and that doesn't make a lot of sense when you are playing. I still don't know what "9" is for because I can't seem to slot anything on it. Combat is weird, you can tame pets (awesome) but they friendly fire each other and you can friendly fire them, which makes using them hard because you will keep killing your own pets, either with you hitting them or them hitting each other. It's very sad. Also, when you die, you lose your pets (even if it's something stupid like you ran out of food and died). The hit box is also a bit weird, both with combat and with mining. Bugs- you get stuck on things, and at first I used to try to break things to get out of objects, but now I learned you can exit to main menu and restart to get dislodged. Turning off weather doesn't seem to turn off weather (which has been hard for me- the fog makes the screen turn almost white and I've been having migraines lately and this has made them worse- I had to stop playing). Quality of life - Sort doesn't really do anything which is a bit annoying. No auto-stack to storage. No way to easily pick up things and place them back down- or at least no consistency? You can pick up a fence but you can't pick up most other things without smacking it a bunch with your tools. Except when it comes to stone walls- you can accidentally pick them up but they turn into a few pieces of stone instead of a wall you used 10 stone to create... Progression - I assume I was supposed to make turtle or leather armor first, but it was easier to mine minerals and make iron armor than it has been to find either turtles or boars for leather. This is a weird progression issue. The only turtles I found were on an island and surrounded by drones that killed me on sight- I didn't have guns yet to kill them (they are faster at flying away from you than you can chase them down with a melee wep) I have been stubbornly playing this game because the basics are fun, and I like the style. But so much of it has been so frustrating, and it probably wasn't intended to be that way. I'll say recommend because it is a cool game and concept but with the way it plays I honestly thought it was still early access, but it's not. I guess devs ran out of money? :( I hope they'll come back to it someday. EDIT: Huge bug. I entered a bunker and when it loaded, it showed my escape pod flying to a new location. I got out of my pod and it wasn't where it used to be... What the heck? Now my pod isn't at my base... I might be done with this game. :/
hero walks so slowly it makes the whole game unbearable, sad because graphics and game play is cool
its great
