I am so close to really liking this game. It has all the features I want in a survival game. Compared to forest I think it would be funner. Excepts it is sooo early access I can't actually try it out. Like climbing trees it so rarely registers my hand on the tree I havn't been able to reach a cocunut. There should be something that tells you if your new hand is sucessfully gripping before you release your old hand. Or when I try to put objects in my belt they sometimes just vanish. I suspect they are getting launched somewhere but I'm not sure. Or when I fell and got hurt the sound effect got stuck in an indefinite loop so I had to restart the game. As soon as the basic gameplay is far enough along to where I can actually evaluate it I am sure I will change my review.
Got the makings of a great game, the dev is very helpful and always listens, its just a pity that people who play for 0.5 or 0.6hrs and think they have a right to give negative review, remember this is early access so give the guy a break, try helping him would be a mature thing to do, instead of spitting your dummies out.
I want to like this game, but it's currently too early access, and based on it being on Steam for nearly 2 years now, doesn't seem like there is much progress being made on this. Currently it's just too buggy, clunky, and not enough to do for me to suggest this game. I would really love it if the devs would give me a reason to change this review, but there is a lot to be desired here for now.
Great concept, lovely ideas. (Love the sparks from rocks while making fire) I had a few issues with the game, as soon as the developer learned about them, he started working on fixing them and giving us options. imo that just says how much potentially big this game could get. keep up the nice work
Promising start for the game, some of the actions are a bit clunky as yet but the bare bones are there and look good.
Could be a great game but unfinished and unpolished. The developer hasn't seem to updated the game much at all. Even "The Forest" in vr is a better vr survival and building game.
Great survival game, outside of perhaps The Forest (which is a completely different kind of game) this is the best survival game if you are looking for something similar to maybe Ark or Rust in terms of aesthetics and gameplay. Could use some optimization regarding performance but that would be my only gripe, everything else is great though I'm still early on in the game so will update with my full experience later. Note: IF you've ever purchased and refunded this game, or pirated it, or for any reason had this game on your hard drive somewhere and decide to buy it again, delete all of those files first. Initially I had an issue where the menu would just endlessly load and the dev and I figured out it was because of old game files. 8/10
I really wanted to enjoy this game because I am a big fan of open world survival games and this one is for VR, which I thought would be very good. In its current state it has too many glitches and very poor graphic quality. Even on high settings it still looks really bad. Had to refund because it is not playable in its current state. I will check back in on it after some more updates and patches have been done. I am not wanting to dis the dev because the idea of the game is really cool and i know from experience that game development is very hard especially when alone but the game is just not ready yet imo to be made public.
