About

The zombie apocalypse happened. What caused it? Who's behind the plague? How do you contract it? All of these trivial questions have gone with the first bite, turning humans from Earth's apex predator to the new predators' most delicious prey. Join the Survival Nation, fight zombies, and keep what remains of the human civilization alive!

Survival Nation: Lost Horizon is first and foremost a survival RPG. It isn’t just a robust crafting system: Each survivor is precious, potentially developing a unique set of skills and abilities. All of which may be of use to your group of survivors, spread across three distinct skill trees: Combat, Survival, and Endurance. Each also has needs that need to be met. Harness their potential and survive in a collapsed world: Scour derelict buildings for canned goods, hunt animals and fish, or try and keep your camp intact long enough to harvest fresh produce from the garden.

After all, it's not a zombie apocalypse without zombies. Every decision must be considered against these ravenous hordes who want nothing more than munch on your survivors' precious internal organs.
Work together with your fellow survivors to stem the tide and protect your camp, cooperate to take down powerful mutants, and - if you feel lucky - go on the offensive to hunt down roaming boss zombies, who might hold precious loot. But be wary, the zombie might not be as dangerous as your fellow man.

If you prefer online play and multiplayer, Survival Nation: Lost Horizon has you covered. Adventure across the post-apocalypse in groups and face challenges together in PVE. Prefer solitary pursuits without the threat of other players hanging over you? Set up your own server, where you can explore the open world and experience Survival Nation: Lost Horizon at your own pace!

it would have been a good game if they didn't abandon it. they are the same team that's making humanitz which they are updating. this game hasn't been updated in over a year. Don't waste your money
I posted a positive, detailed little review saying I liked the game and wished the developers well, but I've come to learn a few things since then. First, it's a repackaged VR game, and once you know that, all of the little quirks in the game make sense. I bought this for $9, and that's too much. I thought I was getting a fleshed-out Project Zomboid knock-off that was less obtuse, but no, it's a pretender to the genre. Even though this is EaRlY aCcEsS, I seriously doubt the devs (I heard one dev is still working on it...) are going to patch up an old VR game and make it a worthwhile purchase. Still, I like the game, and I want to beat it. I want to farm stuff to sell and buy good guns. I want to unlock the experience tree. Farming kills is fun. Unfortunately, from what I can tell, the game is broken and you're unable to advance past a certain point. See, there's a really bad bug that allows zombies to attack you from far away. You'll fire on them, they'll run towards you, you'll run away, they'll swipe at the air, and you fire on them before they start running again. Rinse and repeat. Well, that swipe sometimes connects even when you're nowhere near the zombie. It's annoying at best, and cheap at worst. There comes a point in the game where you fight three boss zombies at a gas station. Try the same tactic and you'll discover that their swipe connects every single time, no matter how far away you are. The answer is to either grind your character to absurd, unnatural (at that point in the game) levels and hope you can kill them before they reach you the first time, or get lucky. Now, keep in mind that any "run away" strategy doesn't work, because once you leave the area that the game designates as the arena, the zombie runs away, its health refills and you start all over. I do want to try the VR game at some point, but this bastard child isn't worth the headache unless you can get it cheap (< $3) and potentially game-breaking bugs don't deter you. If, by some miracle, they do fix the problems, I'll change this review back to positive.
Its my own fault for buying Early Access games. Avoid them at all costs.
Ok i am several days into the game and still dont have a clue whats going on i have done all the tasks in the southern camp made it to the eastern camp and found nothing to do so all i am doing is running around killing zombies anyone else got a clue what this game is about
Apesar das analises negativas, o jogo é muito bom, tu pode jogar com até 8 amigos, pode criar servidor privado com senha tudo de bom! tomara que tenha mais atualizações futuras pois esse jogo tá melhor que o project zomboid! (zomboid estará sempre no meu coração <3 )
Are you seriously kidding me? A video game made in 2024 and there are no KEY bindings for the controls??? Come on man, at least state that we cannot rebind the controls on the store information page so that alot of us wont waste our time or money buying these games that we want to play only to download the game and when we try to play it we then realize that its impossible to play because the KEY buttons cannot be configured to our own preferences!!! Again its a 2024 created game and im fairly certain technology has come a long way in game creation to where the control buttons can be rebound to peoples preferences!!!
