About
"Supermarket Simulator" is a chill first-person simulation where every detail of running a supermarket comes alive.
Design your store, optimizing for efficiency and aesthetics. Determine where products are displayed, manage your aisles, and ensure a smooth shopping experience for your customers.
Order stock using an in-game computer. Unpack goods, organize them in your storage room and place them on shelves, fridges, and freezers.
Scan items, take cash and credit card payments, and ensure customers leave satisfied with their shopping and checkout experience.
Navigate the complexities of a real-time market. Buy products when prices dip and determine the best-selling prices to balance customer satisfaction with profit margins.
As you accumulate profits, consider reinvesting. Expand your store's physical space, upgrade interiors, and continually adapt to the evolving demands of the retail world.

Personalize your shop to make it unique. Customize the floors, paint the walls, put up category signs, and more.

Not every customer visits your store in person. Receive online orders, prepare the packages, and deliver them yourself.

Tired of paying delivery fees or searching for discounts? Visit local markets to find the best deals.

Make your store shine. Clean the floor, take out the trash, and polish the windows to keep everything squeaky clean.

Not everyone is a paying customer. Use security tools like cameras and alarm sensors, or hire security guards to protect your store from shoplifters.

Supermarket Simulator lets you team up with up to four friends to run your store. Stock shelves, serve customers, fulfill online orders, manage deliveries, and expand your market, all while working together in real time. From driving trucks to cleaning up and setting prices, teamwork is the key to growing a successful supermarket.
In "Supermarket Simulator", every decision matters. Will you rise to the occasion, transforming a modest establishment into a retail powerhouse, all while balancing customer satisfaction, and finances?

its very time consuming and relaxing
I did end up enjoying this game more than I thought I would, but if my playtime was lower I'd honestly refund the game. A lot of things are more tedious than they need to be, especially when it comes to restockers. Restockers are... really bad at their jobs. I had eight shelf units (and I'm counting fridges as a 'shelf unit') and four - out of the unmodded max of six - restockers hired, and they could not keep my shelves filled for an entire day. And it's not even a supply issue as the storage room would still have plenty of the items that weren't making it to shelves. Sometimes I would have an empty shelf, a full storeroom of that product and two of my restockers would be standing out front doing... nothing. While the other two would be restocking other items entirely. There's a lot of other minor annoyances that I didn't feel like typing out, ranging from how annoying delivery orders can be to how long it takes to put away a delivery (restockers being bad at their job again) to it not being made apparent that buying directly from local wholesalers - aside from when they message you directly about a specific product - is even a possibility (if you're willing to deal with the annoyance/hassle of delivering the product yourself). Also duplicate customers. Again, minor annoyance, but you could have five customers in your store and three of them would be using the same model. And then there's the DLC. There's seven of them. And while I don't own any of them, it's worth mentioning that the reviews for all of them are consistent about how they're buggy and their content should have been in the base game. And from a thematic aspect, only the bakery dlc looks like it would actually belong in a SUPERMARKET simulator. It honestly feels like actual supermarket levels of greed. On the upside, there's a decent amount of mods (on the Nexus), but before I stopped playing I was running almost 30 mods to help with some of my frustrations and to smooth out the gameplay experience. I shouldn't have had to run a Skyrim amount of mods - okay, for Skyrim that amount qualifies as "lightly modded" but still - in order to get a baseline level of enjoyment. There's also multiplayer. I don't know how good or bad that is, as I don't have a lot of friends, and this type of game isn't really up their alley. But it exists. And playing a game with friends can make a bad or even mid game more fun than it would be solo. Honestly, not only do I *not* recommend this, I'm gonna say that if this game still is of interest to you, get Megastore Simulator instead. Everything that's in this game is in that, but done better. And the different departments of bakery, clothing, toys, grocery, vending machine (and as of a couple days ago, butchery), etc are not only a part of the base game as opposed to DLC, they're implemented better, AND they make sense for them to be there. AND that game is less expensive as well. Especially if you factor in the cost of DLC for this.
