ABOUT GAME SYSTEM
SUPER STRIPE is a high-speed flight combat game.
This game system is typified by the classic SEGA arcade game "Afterburner".
The controls are very simple, and you can wipe out enemies with multiple lock-ons.
The fundamental point is the sense of superiority, but it is a logical game design that can express new possibilities, including the viewpoint, sense of speed, and offense and defense, and I believe that it is a game system that can be further developed.
ABOUT STAGE
Players will invade using multiple lock-ons and Vulcans. The stage will progress depending on the distance invaded. There are 23 stages in total. The final stage will be stage 23. There is an area selection in certain stages. Each stage is diverse, with landscapes such as mountainous areas, valleys, lakes, oceans, and city buildings.

Reviews
A nostalgic arcade shooter with simple, fast-paced gameplay, but also repetitive stages, limited settings, and cheap deaths that make it more frustrating than it should be. If you’re a fan of classic arcade games, you’ll immediately spot the inspiration behind this one. It features the same straightforward gameplay and score-focused design, and there’s no deeper objective beyond racking up points. At the start, you choose from four aircrafts, though the decision is mostly cosmetic. One option does offer more lock-on targets, making it the best pick for newcomers. Armor stats are irrelevant since a single hit means death, and speed doesn’t seem to influence anything significant. Although the game claims stages end after covering a certain distance, speed doesn’t noticeably affect progression. There’s a difficulty slider in the settings if you want to tweak the challenge, but other than that, customization is nonexistent. You’re stuck with the default graphics, so if your PC struggles, you're out of luck. Gameplay is simple and linear: your plane auto-flies forward while you move side-to-side to dodge environmental obstacles and shoot down enemies. Speed controls exist, but they’re largely ignorable as the plane maintains a consistent default pace. Combat centers around two buttons—your main gun and homing missiles. The gun feels ineffective against anything tougher than basic enemies, so missiles are your go-to. Targeting is automatic: just hover the crosshair over a foe and fire. A single missile does the job, and while there’s a cooldown meter to prevent spamming, it recharges quickly enough to keep you well-armed. The game spans multiple stages with different environments. Occasionally, you’ll see new enemy types, like tanks or ships in terrain-specific areas. A nice touch is how the levels flow seamlessly. Each stage ends with a stats screen and leads directly into the next without load times. Sometimes, you can even pick your next route. Unfortunately, the stages quickly become repetitive, not just in gameplay, which is expected, but in the environmental design. Each level leans heavily on a single repeating asset, like a bridge or rock formation that you’ll see dozens of times. To make matters worse, deaths often feel unfair. Missiles can strike seemingly out of nowhere, and I’ve even had my plane explode for no apparent reason while flying in an open sky. When you die, you respawn at the bottom of the screen with a short delay before regaining control, making it easy to lose another life if something’s in your path. Given the limited lives and stage layout, this becomes a frustrating issue.
