⠀옛날 팩게임으로 즐긴 핀볼보다 구성 자체는 더욱 간단해진 2018년도 핀볼 게임. 사실상 이전 세대 핀볼보다 더 퇴화한 수준이라고 보면 된다. 당신은 여러 오브젝트에 볼을 튕겨 증기 게이지를 채워야 한다. 실제로 게임 설명란에 그렇게 써있다. 근데 다 엿먹으라 하고, 우리가 노려야 될 건 딱 두 군데다. 증기 게이지 아래에 달린 짧은 아코디언처럼 생긴 부분. 아무리 뭐 많이 튕기고 점수 올린다 해도 그 부분을 안 눌러주면 증기 게이지가 오르질 않는다. ⠀그럼 증기 게이지만 계속 올리면 되느냐? 아니지, 그 게이지가 떨어지지 않게 유지도 해야 된다. 이 말이 무슨 뜻이냐. 죽지 말라는 소리다. 양옆으로 빠지는 데스존에 가면 증기가 "푸시이이이이익" 하면서 뿜어진다. 그러면 그 증기를 타고 볼을 다시 살릴 수 있는 시스템인데, 문제는 이게 모아놓은 증기 게이지를 급격하게 소모한다는 점이다. 앞으로 2-3번만 더 누르면 풀로 채울 거 같은데 볼이 빠져서 증기가 분출된다? 진짜 그만큼 조오오오오옺나 빡치는 순간이 없다. ⠀증기 게이지를 풀로 채우면··· 축하한다. 당신은 이제 노란 대포를 타고 보너스 스테이지에 진입할 수 있다. 거기서 해야할 일은 무엇이냐? 바로 200m를 올라가는 것이다. 그리고 그 과정은 절대 호락호락하지 않다. 왜냐하면 시간 제한이 있거든 지미럴. 해보면 알겠지만, 시간 제한 없어도 온갖 방해물들 때문에 200m는 꽤나 힘든 여정이다. 시간을 조금이나마 늘리고 싶으면 시작할 때 '시계' 모양의 핀볼을 선택하자. 30초 늘려준다. 근데 그게 의미가 있을까. 이놈들이 타이머에 '05:00' 즉 5분인 것처럼 해놨어도 실제로 보면 1초에 막 3-4초씩 내려간다. 이게 뭔 개짓거리야 대체. ⠀만약 당신이 보너스 스테이지 100m 정도는 쉽게 올라갈 정도의 수준이 되면, 스티커를 모으는 거 자체는 어렵지 않다. 100m만 넘겨도 평균적으로 한번에 스티커 3-4개씩 준다. 200m면 5개 확정이고. 문제는 총 10개의 도전과제 중에서 2개의 도전과제다. Wielder of Secrets!(=스크린 화면에서 시크릿 코드 입력) 과 Flabbergasted! 가 문제의 녀석들인데, 이걸 얻을 수 있는 정확한 조건을 알 수가 없다. 포럼을 살펴보면 시크릿 코드 비슷한 게 있는데 넣어봐도 '볼 스킨'만 추가될 뿐 도전과제는 안 따진다. 나머지 하나는 설명만 보면 아에 감도 안 잡혀서 막연히 '모든 도전과제를 따면 달성되는 건가?' 라고 생각할 뿐이다. ⠀남은 두 개의 도전과제를 위해서 개발자에게 친구신청을 해둔 상태다. 제발 받아줬으면 좋겠다. 진심으로 물어보고 싶다. 이걸 딸 수 있는 정확한 조건이 뭐냐고. 내가 친 코드가 시크릿 코드가 아닌 거냐고. 그리고 Flabbergasted! 는 대체 뭐하는 도전과제냐고 말이다. 불안한 점은 개발자의 마지막 접속일이 2주가 넘었다는 것이다. 일단 지금 당장은 엄지를 내리는 게 맞고, 도전과제 올클리어가 가능하다는 게 밝혀져도 가성비를 놓고 보면 엄지는 계속 내리고 있어야할 게임성이긴 하다. ※ 개발자가 포럼에 직접 코멘트를 달아 알려줬네요. 대화를 나눠보니 친절한 분이란 걸 느꼈습니다. 그 따듯한 마음씨에 솔직히 '아, 이 정도 대응이면 엄지 올릴만 하지.'라고 생각했어요. 하지만 결국 바꾸지 않기로 했습니다. 왜냐하면 'Flabbergasted!'의 도전과제 내용이 생각보다 더 랄부 찢을 것처럼 빡셌거든요. 랜덤성 도전과제인데··· 후 개발자 코멘트 보고 바로 혼이 나갔습니다. 보너스 휠을 어떻게 최소 27바퀴를 돌리냐고 진짜. 10바퀴 연속으로 돌리기도 힘들다 시벌.

スチームパンクをモチーフにしたビデオピンボール。 現代人がイメージするメカメカしいそれとは違い「どこか温かみを感じる、昔懐かしいスチームパンク」で全体的に長閑な雰囲気を感じる。 ピンボールなので「ひたすらスコアアタックに徹するのみ」というシンプルな内容の上に、フィールドには細々とした点数を吐き出すオブジェクトや時間制限付きのマルチボールが存在する程度なので簡素すぎると思えるかもしれない。 「左右のシリンダーに水を満タンまで溜め、尚且つ両方沸騰させるとボーナスステージに行ける」という要素がこのゲームの主な役物or狙うべき目的となる。 ボーナスステージにはローグライト要素があり「突入する度にレイアウトが変わるフィールドでBGMが終わるまでボールを上へ上へと運んでいく」というルールで楽しい事は楽しいのだが、慣れてきたら開幕のレイアウトを見るだけで捨てゲーするか否かを判断できてしまう所が残念な所。 他のゲームでもそうだがリセマラや捨てゲーが選択肢に入るようになるとつまらなくなってしまいがちなので、ボーナスステージのレイアウトにはもう少し捻りを加えてほしかった。 地味かつ簡素な内容の上に所々に粗はあるがスチームパンクを活かした仕掛けやバンバックが決まりやすいおかげでボールを落としにくくなっていたり、聴き飽きないBGMのおかげで肩の力を抜いてのんびり楽しめるピンボールに仕上がっていると思う。 ※ティルトになってもナッジングのみで結構な時間生き残れるのはどうかと思うが、そこはご愛嬌で。

This is a retro pixel 2d pinball simulator with a steampunk theme. This seems to have been written by someone who is not a fan of pinball simulators and just put a few random buzzwords in a blender to come up with one of the worst possible game ideas imaginable. Pinball simulators, being simulators, rely heavily on fidelity to achieve a realistic and enjoyable recreation. The developer here does not understand this, and because of a sharp deficiency in basic game development capability, chose hideous retro pixel graphics, defeating the purpose of the entire exercise. On top of the ugly retro graphics, we have fixed resolution, terrible art, completely nonsensical steampunk theme (who asked for that?). Also, controls are fixed, and the developer deliberately chooses to map HOTAS/racing wheels and other PC gaming peripherals as if they are console peasant kiddy toy gamepads. This cannot be changed, yet renders the game unplayable. This is a classic example of the sheer incompetence of the vast majority of indie devs and should be avoided.

I'm sorry but I did not enjoy this game.
