Super Motherload

This game is super addicting and really awesome. I love how the little diggers controls feel, everything is really tight and enjoyable. I play it with everyone, and we all get 'stuck in the mines' and play way way too long. I believe I have destroyed my sleep too many times.

If you like Motherload and know what it is, you'll like Super Motherload.

I feel like this has lost a lot of what made the original so much fun. Also feels buggy that the purchases don't always unlock what they are supposed to such as the drill upgrade not letting you dig the next tier of dirt.

I got this game on ps+ when I was console gaming on ps4 years ago, I had to get it again, cause I love super mother load, even the original.

I primarily bought this for the inclusion of Motherload Goldium Edition which is an .EXE in the files. The launcher crashes when I click start game (windowed or Fullscreen). In addition to that, I wanted to support this developer and experience Goldium edition compared to the original and I am unable to do that. If that was it, I would be fine, however, within 5 minutes of playing SuperMotherload, I immediately understood why I never heard about it in the past 15 years. It truly is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sequel to the original game. It is obviously half-baked and it feels like no effort went into the mechanics and gameplay. I guess I will stick to playing an archived copy of the original.

My recommendation comes with a caveat, as I bought this game heavily discounted and primarily to play "Motherload Goldium Edition" to satisfy a nostalgic craving (and it didn't disappoint in this regard). However, I have been completely unable to launch the more recent "Super Motherload" and have yet to find a solution (after searching various forums, this seems to be a common issue). Therefore, I can only recommend you purchase this if you are looking to play the original 2004 classic, as there is no guarantee that you will be able to play the titular game.

super motherload, ticks something primordial, its so simple yet infinitely replayable, time just flies when you play it. Big improvement over the original flash game, which oh yeah, you get the original game when you buy super motherload, which is a nice bonus.
