fun game but horrible controls which ruin in.

best bang for the buck. $17.99 was a bit high but compared to the rest of the market I still give it best buy. Loads of clean fun, retro feel yet modern graphics, likable mechanics, generic player and team names. What is not to love about this game? I give it 8/10.

This is my favorite baseball game. It is better than the big name games. i wont get 4 because i just dont think they did enough to warrant a game. I love this game!!! However, it is going to frustrate you. Mostly at higher difficulties it seems like the game has decided the outcome at pitch one. You struggle and claw and have great at bats and make great pitches to take the 1 run lead, only to give up a lead off homer the next inning. ...and then the real BS starts....dink hit after dink off great pitches perfectly placed between the bases...or little bloopers also perfectly placed, You can tell alot of times when its going to happen....every AI batter has a perfect eye, they will not swing at a beautiful 0 - 2 pitch drifting out of the strike zone....crappy players foul off pitch after pitch,,,,only to get that dink hit. This has always been present in this game but seems so much worse over the last 2 seasons Ive played. I have an EGO system that changes as I play depending on how I do. In a 50 game season I have worked up to over 70 ego, but now its low 60s and I struggle there with all of the above issues. It is the best BB game though. Stiil want online leagues with AI teams....wont buy again until better additions.
