Nice fun game. Its especially good for kids. A controller isnt mandatory, on PC you can play it with WASD, CTRL and Space.
A cute and Simple Mario-clone platformer game with fairly responsive controls. A few secrets and enough interesting characters and abilities to easily get through the beginning levels without issue. No graphical issues and music is pleasant. I didn't run in to any bugs, significant or otherwise in my short time playing. This would be a perfect starter game for kids ages probably 5-10. Especially to teach them game mechanics and timing skills for more difficult games later. I loved the addition of the secret areas that weren't terribly difficult to find. Making kids think about the environment and where things might be hiding. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. One that i think is well worth the price tag on offer.
Simple, fun throwback to old-school platformers! It obviously takes a lot of 'inspiration' from a certain red plumber, but that isn't a bad thing. Those games are fun and not otherwise on Steam, so this is a nice alternative. Also, worth mentioning that most modern, side-scrolling, platformers aren't as 'polished' in terms of gameplay. Super Komio feels really responsive, good hit-boxes, and balanced. Basically, I am saying it isn't AAA, but it is fun.
