Game with great potential, the developer is fixing faults that shows that he continues to support it.

Bias small team - Bias - Level This is from the games option screen. What does it mean exactly? I have no idea and no way to find out either in game or on Steam. I have three hours playing this game and at least that much hunting the internet to find out how to play it. (In all that searching I stiill don't know what the option noted above does exactly) Also be aware that in the community hub a ways down the devoloper responds to a comment concerning his confusion about the game by listing keyboard commands, none of which work. I think they are from an earlier version. In short the game has one huge flaw and that is a total lack of documentation. A simple PDF would have been appreciated. Still would be. I played the original and except for the heroes involved it is nothing like the first DM game, That is neither a good or a bad thing just be aware of it. I have not been playing long enough to give a fair review of the game itself so I am downvoting it for now only because of the utter lack of any documentation. I'll play the game some more and if I like it I'll come back here update this review and change my vote. I hate to do this I know one guy made it and it's free. But my time is worth something as well and for me this game was unplayable until I went hunting for guides to tell me how to do the simpliest things.
It's actually not bad, but I feel like I don't really understand the combat system. I appreciate being able to assemble a squad of 4 waifus.
Sapete i giochi Lego? Una review afferma: the good part is it's not just "another rpg maker game".
Edited Review: When i played this game 2 years ago it was a clunky mess, however since the dev reached out and said he has been working on the game (A long while ago) I eventually got around to trying it again. Still not a perfect game BUT its pretty great, especially for a free game. Lots of characters, skills, perks, etc. Block reaction commands keep it interesting. Still havent played much but wanted to let everyone know my review is very old and A LOT has been done since it was written. Its an all new game.
The original DMII and Ultima VII are what me hooked on CRPGs. While most of my friends were cutting their teeth with Final Fantasy on NES, which is still a decent game it had nowhere near the depth of that made these titles close to my heart. Awesome job! This title needs much more exposure than it gets!
While I'm not someone who's clocked in hundreds of thousands of gaming hours, I do have a fair bit of perspective when it comes to the breadth and depth of RPGs. The 'flavors' are practically innumerable of course, spanning all the way back to text adventures like the Zork series, 8-bit hybrids which include some degree of platforming, 4-player arcade beat-'em-ups with undeniable role-playing elements (D&D / Gauntlet), console gems, on up into the obvious 3D-graphic titles in single-player and MMO varieties. The major titles I've dumped hours into result in quite the eclectic list, proving how large the category _really_ is. They include "Conan" (the Barbarian) on original C64 hardware, Zork Nemesis / Myst / Drowned God (old PC), Ys Book I & II (NES, tho the Turbografx CD version would've been preferable), Dragon Warrior / Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar (NES), Maniac Mansion / Shadowgate / Uninvited / Deja Vu (NES), Final Fantasy III (SNES), Phantasy Star I/II/III (Sega Master System / Genesis), Sword of Vermillion (Genesis), Lunar: the Silver Star (Sega CD), some play of the aforementioned arcade titles, FF 7 & 8 (Playstation), Maplestory 1 & 2 (PC), some Steam RPG-maker titles, King's Quest 1 (Sierra remake for modern PC), most recently Thimbleweed Park on Epic Games ...and of course this *incredible* modern experience of a classic 'throwback' fantasy adventure: Super Dungeon Master Ace :D Some may feel a title here 'n there that I included in my list aren't _actually_ RPGs by their standards, and we'll simply have to agree to disagree. Regardless, it's clear that I've hit this huge umbrella of a parent genre called 'RPG' from nearly all sides at this point in my life. What you have here in Super Dungeon Master Ace is so very much more than the sum of its parts. NOTHING in the game really looks or feels like an RPG-Maker title *at all* with as much love as has been imbued in it's development. While it's certainly a daunting feat to imagine so many disparate RPG elements could unify with one another, they ALL come together seamlessly (magically?) to give you a smooth-yet-exciting mix of many, many things I've come to love about role playing games: 'meaty' dungeon crawling, *meaningful* action elements, more-than-meets-the-eye secrets, intuitive item usage and environment interaction, _interesting_ and rewarding puzzles which sometimes delightfully break linearity, instead opting for a bit of lateral thinking from the player, and a great sense of humor as the cherry on top! C: Let me also say here that I've NEVER... EVER had as rewarding of a post-install experience as I have with the developer of this game! You absolutely should check out the community - read a bit - then unload everything on your mind about this GEM of an RPG to boyflea, because your happiness and feedback *10000%* matters to this dev! The proof bears itself out in the relevancy of his myriad content & bug-fix-packed, *very regular* game updates, along with the utmost in respect that boyflea extends your direction as a member of his Steam community. Boyflea is an absolute breath-of-fresh-air to interface with about ANYTHING on your mind having to do with the game, and this of course is super refreshing in a sea of dispassionate and cynical developers on this platform. Don't wait - download it NO0ooww! ...no I've not been paid a dime for this review, nor do I know boyflea personally... but did I mention: Don't wait - download Super Dungeon Master Ace NOW!!! ...haha *^.^*
