Lively 2D platformer with a cute story and stimulating visuals. Pros: - Excellent level design and tight controls - Fun abilities that mix to give levels more depth - Pleasant soundtrack to bob to - Neat accessibility options goes a long way for some people - Story is lighthearted entertainment at its best Cons: - Bosses are extremely simple, I only enjoyed a single one - The blue cartridge ability sucks and was frustrating me at some points - Clearly inspired by others in the genre but doesn't iterate upon anything - Glitchy visuals caused disorientation at times, especially flames - Limited visibility made it trial-and-error when you couldn't see your next obstacle clearly
Excellent platformer with cool mechanics and so many creative levels! I loved all of the AHA moments and the general vibe is so good.
初見の時は1000回以上死んだけど、多分私はこの先1000回以上このゲームをプレイするだろうな。大好きなゲーム。
While it was a pretty fun game, once you get all the abilities or 'carts', the colors changing all over the place really makes it hard to track what you have equipped, where you are going, what ability you need on to collect the 'onigiri' collectibles. Makes it extremely annoying when the levels get really hectic and require more and more precise inputs. The main storyline missions and collectibles were super fun though, this more pertains to the endgame challenges you can find after unlocking everything. Could've been one for the ages if it wasn't for the crazed color schemes going on, 7.5/10
Great platformer. I would recommend this to anyone, even if you have no fingers to play this game. Just the music is enough to enjoy this
At first this game may just look like another 2D platformer, but it's more than that. It's difficult but rewarding, comedic but not over done, and meta without becoming cringe or cliche. The parts of this game that I enjoyed the most would be the simple and straightforward controls, the different vibrant colours used, the unlockable abilities, and the accessibility settings, that allow you to still play and enjoy the game no matter your skill level. Another part of this game that I enjoyed was the coding humour, such as using the death counter as binary so that it always looks a lot, and the talking block in one of the early levels that states "01101000 01101001".
Really fun game. Nice relaxing platformer which does get progressively more difficult. I have enjoyed it a lot. Very nice art design. Not too long but not too short either (depending on your play style) Great to see game offering accessibility options where you can change the game to be as easy or difficult as you wish, for anyone to enjoy it.
Great co op game, the art is fantastic and the game play is terrific!
Good platforming game. Starts off fairly simple and gets a bit more difficult. Has collectable onigiri which offer a more fun challenge. Very good that it included a11y options, love to see this in games. Simplified graphics made it a bit easier for me to play longer sessions. The feel of the game is something like fez meets bmo from adventure time, which is cute.
przyjemna platformówka. Polecam choć na pewno nie za pełną cene.
