As much as I despise becoming the review number 12 Bis for superstitious reason, I will admit this is a very neat game that kept me engaged and entertained for its entire duration. If there is one complaint I have to make is for the morse code section however, I would have appreciated at least a transcription of the morse code rather than having to understand what was a dot and a line in the music section, but aside from that I didn't find any other problem, good game I recommend it.
Really solid, underrated horror game with a lot of payoff. Clearly had a lot of passion put into it, and explores stuff that I haven't seen many other games in the space do before. Some of the dialog went on a bit long and could benefit from a few more choices/things to explore, but overall for what it is, a really fun lil horror game that makes for a fun evening.
This is a great little game. Telling its story through investigating a used computer is really clever and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Although it's not challenging (and isn't meant to be), it's compelling. You want to keep going to further explore the story until its end. Playing it is a good time.
yeah, it's pretty neat. some parts get a little obtuse like the riddle having a solution that doesn't quite fit, the last thing you have to do in the computer is kinda weird. also the horror aspect kinda dips away after the immediate beginning for a while and the end sort of brings it back, but it's kinda predictable. enjoyed it though
They had some bangers on the computer: https://youtu.be/rrNV8QTJxmw
i love this game sadly its a bit short but very fun and scary it makes me think of kinito pet so if you like that game then 1oo% buy this one
I have followed the development of this game since the discovery of the demo, and I must admit that the final product did not disappoint me. SunrayOS is an Operating System simulator, as the name suggests. The protagonist purchased a second-hand PC online, equipped with the Sunray operating system, characterized by the presence of the Zippy artificial intelligence. As Zippy himself claims, it adapts to the needs of each user, making the experience unique. But the story doesn't stop there: the protagonist is contacted through the internal messaging app and, after an exchange of banter, discovers that the previous owner of the PC, Var, has mysteriously disappeared. From this point, the search begins that will unfold the entire plot of the game. From a gameplay perspective, SunrayOS introduces several interesting ideas and offers a well-executed desktop simulation. Primarily, it is almost a point-and-click game, except for some sessions where, without revealing too much, the gameplay becomes more dynamic. The main criticisms focus on: 1) Narrative pace: At times, the game pauses for a few seconds, leaving you unsure of what to do. There were moments when I thought I had missed something, only to realize that I just had to wait for a message to arrive. While a minor issue and not frequent, it can slightly disrupt the tension. 2) Jump scares: There are few, especially at the beginning. Personally, I am not a big fan and believe they disrupt the immersion in the game by prematurely hinting at something abnormal, discordant with the rest of the experience. In conclusion, SunrayOS achieves its goal, albeit not perfectly. It has a duration of about ninety minutes, suitable for a game of this kind. Unfortunately, it doesn't offer much replayability, but the ending leaves hope for future developments. Rating: 7/10
