i like this game it's cute and fun with friends :)

This game is worth the $2 sale price just to Anime Girl Fall Flat flop around in the overworld and you even get to drive some cars too. As a Trackmania lover, the slippery, sensitive handling was very much an acquired taste for me, and I went all the way up and down the steering sensitivity scale trying to figure out how to stop my car from snapping back and forth right off the road every 5 seconds. The track design makes learning the game very punishing, as the entire game has as much walls as Rainbow Road and a lot of early levels have a reliance on lining up blind jumps with no markers, which just felt incredibly frustrating. Worlds 3 and 4 however have nicely varied and often technical designs and I found them (especially the "parking garage" in world 3) to be both a lot of fun and much more manageable. Try those if you feel stuck! I managed to get to the finish of 13 out of 15 tracks in 5 hours (for a total of... five stars?) as well as seeing the funny credits and I gotta say, I definitely got at least 50% of an understanding of how to drive, and that improving does feel dang good. I think the biggest breakthrough for me was learning to rely on throttle control to reel in a drift, and to suppress my urge to countersteer. "Learn to sit back and observe", as they say. Santa outfit is the best character outfit. Very poofy.

Pretty fun little game. It's a weird one too though cause it's just a funny car game with silly physics, but also wants to be a very tight car game too? I don't think it quite works for that but I still find it quite fun to mess about it. Honestly I think the biggest issues is that there aren't any simpler courses to mess about in. The first one you do it already hard if you don't have a hang on the odd physics yet. I think it's a lot of fun if you don't take it too seriously.
