Weird, unsettling visuals. Floaty sometimes jank platforming. Freaky on edge atmosphere and a heartfelt end message. Delivery of a lot can be improved, but was acceptable. Nice free experience.
beautiful and harrowing game it's a must play
At first it's a dreamy game with horror vibes, but then levels get so hard and game design makes it worse for you to beat the level. Some techniques don't even work, and then atmosphere is fading away

Very fun and unique way to convey a message, such granular details like the sprite beginning to bleed overtime and less health made it difficult but also jaw dropping and unique. I am dealing with a lot of hitbox problems, though, either skill issue or it just keeps killing me even when I'm not touching anything.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
i love everything about this game, the art is unlike any ive ever seen, the unique way the story progression ties into the end goal of every level, the enemy sprites, the level themes the design of the main character, and the tale of suffering from the creator all come together to make this game one of the most unique games ive ever seen, in my personal opinion, i would like to see this game adapted into a short film. much love to you louis morel ❤️

Man, I can't wait for the summer! Average summer experience:

Wow. This game made me feel things I never could have imagined in my own personal lifetime. Such a painful yet very unique perspective, told beautifully despite its implications. I can only begin to wonder how much suffering Louis has endured and it takes a respectable amount of bravery to vent that suffering through a surreal platforming masterpiece. Sentiments aside, the platforming segments do have a few flaws, especially in the late game. When attempting to jump at the sides of platforms, they can bounce you at unexpected angles. Some jumps are deceptively difficult and some checkpoints are unnecessarily spaced apart. The second to last level soft-locked me for getting stuck between an enemy and a moving white block. I found this game by complete chance and I'm so glad I gave it a try. The messages told throughout the story are truly thought provoking and the artwork is just stunning once you acquire a taste for its absurdity. Even with infuriating platforming segments the intermissions of dialogue only become that much more rewarding. I entered the game completely blind, so being a transfem I was pleasantly surprised by some of the gendered undertones in Louis' writings and the wonderful speech given at the end. If Louis is reading this, thank you for your time and effort, I cried multiple times and would love to experience this game again with fresh eyes.
