I love this game very much from the farming system to characters. I have only played around 8 hours yet, but there is so much to do which makes it hard to not have something to do during the day. My only complain for now is the enemy placement. Its either the placement thats bad or its me. Anyway the game is a super fun game to play if you like farming games and rougelikes

Fun game Crashing on steamdeck :/ in the middle of days too so I lose a bunch of progress everytime

This is a decent Stardew Valley rip off that loses points for having a giant "buy more stuff" advertisement on the opening screen. The female characters are needlessly hyper sexualized, they also wear lingerie as normal clothes. The developers are clearly too sex starved to make their own decisions. But the gameplay and mechanics are strong... so I recommend for adults and horny teen boys.

Okay so this game gets mix reviews because of the controversy (see second half of this review). The game itself, is great. Happily sinking hundreds of hours into this with no regrets. It is a really good cosy game, I commend the devs on what I was shocked to see is their first work! I haven't encountered any bugs or issues so far. My biggest gripe is they could do with a jumping animation for mounts. It does feel a bit akward to have the sprite just levitate, especially with winged mounts. Now obviously this will get compared to Stardew as all cosy games do. In that regard: the art style is a bit more naive in some ways, but the game itself has so much more to it in terms of locations, characters, customisable farmer and just things to do in general. Seriously this game is huge! Speaking as someone previously dissapointed with FaeFarm's incredibly short story, Little Witch in the Woods' lack of actual gameplay and akward translations...this is my new obsession. I was initially hesitant as the promo art is a bit twee, but I can only say give it a try, there's a lot to this. TLDR for controversy: Read the lawsuit, consider the facts, if you watch youtube videos then check their sources. Conjecture and hearsay are not evidence but they are being used as such in the court of public opinion. Below is just my own view: nobody asked for it so skip it if you don't want it. Personally I think if people weren't being paid I'd expect that to be the focus of the lawsuit not an alleged wrongful termination of a single employee that doesn't mention it. The devs did add credits and apologised that it took so long, they also had to port it to Switch while people were asking for Steamdeck and mod support...again dev's FIRST game, getting it perfect first try is possible but nobody expects viral level popularity on their first game! Paid DLC does exist, it's all cosmetic and only on steam and title screen. The dev log says this is to support the artists given the story is now done and otherwise there's not much for them to do. The main complaint is "money grabbing" or "prioritising over fixing bugs" but neither of those hold up, you aren't forced to buy the DLC, it's not advertised to you beyond the title screen, and it's cosmetic only. The artists aren't going to be fixing the bugs and the ones fixing the bugs aren't going to be involved in cosmetics. It could well be that all of the talk is true, but there is so few facts and so much conjecture that it seems more like a disgruntled ex-employee leading internet strangers with otherwise good intentions into bullying an indie dev. Just my opinion, do your own search, don't get spoon fed ideas.

Мне правда понравилось это приключение, игра затянула на добрые почти 80 часов. Контента в игре много, занятий тоже, эдакая прокачанная стардью. Из минусов присутствуют баги, муж второго игрока почему то приходил в комнату к моей жене и занимался там куколдизмом. Ребенок был сломан, он почему то был и в моем и в доме второго игрока, я не видел ребенка второго игрока а он моего,, дома как то забаговались. В полуночные острова не пускали, но это исправили в последнем патче. Видно что баги чинятся. Перевод даже нейросеть сделала бы лучше, повторы одних и тех же фраз, пол персов перепутан. Но при всех минусах однозначно советую поиграть.

Buggy mess, dev seem very eager to push lot of cosmetics DLC instead of fixing gamebreaking bugs. Right now as i'm writting, regrowing crops are unable to grow at all...

A great little farming sim with lots to do and lots of places to explore. I also love how many critters you can get,
