Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

not bad not bad. pretty good actually.
dogfight mechanics are surprisingly deep once you get used to the movement.
I enjoyed this game despite the fact that it's overly simplistic and occasionally extremely frustrating. It's kind of a flying shooter, but it feels more like a minigame much of the time since you're just flying straight toward the projectiles and enemies. There's not much depth to the combat, you pick up upgrades and these give you stronger weapons and then a shield, and then you get downgraded if you take a hit. Most stages are very easy since you can take 8 hits per stage, but the boss fights are brutal. They're not hard in the traditional sense but rather because they all have the equivalent of a stupid homing attack that hooks as it approaches. It doesn't quite work the way the devs planned, it's mostly extremely irritating and this culminates with an extremely irritating final boss. Once you beat the game, the extra medal challenges can take hours if you want all the achievements. The goals are simple, but a few involve weird strategies that can take hours to figure out, so you won't breeze through them. I did find this overall to be just challenging enough to avoid me feeling like it was a waste of time, so I would say it's worth the time it took to figure out. I recommend it but keep in mind it is shallow and repetitive.

Rating: 8.2/10 Sun Blast: Star Fighter is a fast-paced space shooter that puts players in control of a futuristic spacecraft and focuses on quick reactions, precise movement, and intense combat. Players must navigate through dangerous areas of space while fighting enemy ships, avoiding incoming attacks, and surviving increasingly challenging encounters. The game keeps its mechanics relatively straightforward, creating an arcade-style experience that is easy to understand while still requiring concentration and good reflexes. The game's strongest aspect is its fast and accessible combat. Flying through enemy formations while constantly moving and firing creates a satisfying sense of momentum, and the variety of opponents helps keep the battles interesting. The science-fiction setting also fits the gameplay well, giving the player a clear sense of being involved in a classic space combat scenario. The controls are relatively easy to learn, allowing players to focus on positioning, aiming, and avoiding enemy fire rather than dealing with complicated systems. The main weakness is that the core gameplay can become repetitive over longer sessions. Players looking for a deeper story, extensive customization, or more complex progression systems may find the experience somewhat limited. Some additional enemy types, weapons, or game modes could also have provided greater variety and replay value. Despite these limitations, Sun Blast: Star Fighter delivers an enjoyable arcade-style space shooter. Its straightforward controls, fast-paced battles, and classic science-fiction atmosphere make it a solid choice for players who enjoy quick and action-focused space combat.
It's like budget Star Wars but with more arcade physics. I dig it.
The environments are surprisingly detailed for an indie title.
