Sudoku Acres

Really enjoyed what I've seen from the game so far! I tried one of the 4 acorn puzzles and had a blast solving it. Excited to dig into the game more!

The creator was kind enough to send me a key so I've been playing this to wind down at night before bed and I love it! It's a really cute game and I like the gameplay loop of playing some sudoku, earning currency, and then decorating my little pixel space. I've always loved sudoku but I've never really played non-number variants of it much so it's been a little more challenging than usual adjusting my brain to look down rows and columns for plants vs specific numbers. And I love the way it looks like a big vegetable patch at the end. :) There are some little QOL things that are kind of rough like when you place something down after placing a bunch of hints, it won't erase the relevant hints in the same section/row/column but it doesn't bug me much because one of my fave things to do in sudoku is do the whole thing without any hints anyway. On the whole this is a relaxing game with a great aesthetic and a nice little decorating/pet element. If you like sudoku, I definitely recommend it.

Super cute game. I really enjoyed the different "shiny" animals you could obtain. My farm was overran with animals for a hot minute.

I'm thoroughly enjoying my time playing this! I wouldn't have even called myself a Sudoku fan before now, but this made it feel so cozy and cute that it drew me in. How charming!

This game checks a lot of boxes for me. Cozy and cute but with a ton of cool old school 8 bit art that brings me right back to my childhood. I've never been a big Sudoku player, but as a fan of Stardew and Harvest moon I am finding myself sucked into the Sudoku so I can build more stuff for my farm haha. Definitely glad I picked this up and would recommend it to anyone into cozy farm or Sudoku games.

I wish there were more to do around the puzzles, but the game's charm and low price fill some of that void. The art is very cute, and I enjoy the twist on Sudoku. I wish the game would display the controls in the margins of the puzzle. It took going into the options to figure out how to toggle notes off. (Also, I think clicking the notes button should probably toggle it rather than only turning it on; that was the first thing I tried, but it looks like only a middle click will toggle it.) I could make some other minor UX ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but I still think this is worth your time, especially if you enjoy games that let you relax for a few minutes with some music or a podcast.

So far loving this game. There's only two small QOL updates I'd love, for the squares to be able to take more than 4 notes at a time and if placing a full sized object it would remove the now irrelevant notes. They aren't major things but just small things which make it a bit easier to play for me. Overall love the cozy sudoku vibes with actual rewards

I'm always a fan of games like this using objects in place of the numbers or letters in traditional puzzles. Nice, relaxed game. Though I am finding it easy to accidently be out of my puzzle and then it gets restarted when I go back.

Super cute and chill Sudoku game with a fun theme, plus a decorating element! Absolutely recommend for a relaxing time :)
