As a disabled artist, this game has honestly been a godsend. There are days I can't sit up to work on my irl projects but my brain desperately needs to create. My laptop can't handle most digital art programs and a lot of art games are pretty limiting and don't quite scratch the same itch, but this one does! The color and tool selection is great, the tools react as you'd expect, and you have complete freedom in what to make while still getting prompts should you want them. It isn't the same as creating irl, of course, but it's so much more similar than a lot of other art games! The story is cheeky and fun if you want it, or you can just go cover the world in paint in creative mode. This is one I come back to all the time!

I wanted to like it but the game links camera to the cursor even while painting so it gave me severe motion sickness after 20 mins. I'm requesting a refund and would only consider buying it if there was an option to toggle the ability to freeze camera view with the canvas and object fitting nicely on screen, and only move the brush. Also, if the brush tool is selected, let us use the brush with left-click. Why is the most-used command right-click while left-click still uses the hand tool? The amount of times I disturbed and dropped the canvas by accident because of this un-intuitive default binding was just as baffling a design choice. Overall its weirdly clunky.

It's a really cool game, but it'd be great if there was VR support. There's a VR version available on the Meta Quest store, but not on Steam for PCVR

this is the closest im ever going to get to being a real artist. just drawing horses for people. i hate my life so much.
