About

Sub Terra is a single-player first person psychological horror game inspired by The Backrooms. As a maintenance worker, you've spent your whole life venturing deep underground to repair pipes, gas lines, you name it. Utilities that we take for granted.
On a day like any other, you enter the manhole and descend the depths to replace a water line at the end of tunnel 04-R. The job is straightforward. The directions are clear.
But your repair doesn't go quite as planned.

Warning: Sub Terra contains loud noises, flashing lights and material that may be disturbing to some individuals.

For being a short free horror game, the presentation is amazing with its visuals and horror aspects! Good pick to play!
Loved it. Good time, somewhat predictable but good scares (the first real spook in the tunnels got me), good use of audio and assets (but why is there a drinking horn on the toilet? xD) For a first game especially you get plenty of points. Good job! :3
Una joyita de terror que pasa super desapercibida, me encanto!

I really don't know what to say about this one, but I will say this: I enjoyed it. I'm usually pretty thick-skinned with horror games, but this one had me on edge a bit a few times. To be honest, I thought that the story was a little weak, but I mean that pretty mildly. The spoops ramp up a bit later in the game, so if you feel underwhelmed when starting, just stick with it, it only takes like 45-60 minutes to finish. For being the dev's first game, I'm fairly impressed, there isn't anything too mind-blowing or anything, but the presentation and atmosphere are pretty good, and it's definitely a little weirder than your standard walking sim. Glad I checked it out, and for the low, low, cost of free, you can too.
i don't usually play that many games, even less horror games, and this one gave me some goosebumps. i enjoyed it all. hoped it would be longer. big W to the developer
Nice little game. I appreciate the symbolism in it, not many of these little horror games put in that kind of effort. That being said the game has some very unpolished visuals. I don't know the exact word for it but its one of those games that has way, way too much bloom. Everything is overprocessed so lots of textures are constantly loading and reloading. Not great to look at because of it. Additionally, the monster designs could have been far, far better. To avoid being rude, I'll just say they seem to lack a symbolic connection. However, I appreciated the limited design of the very last one. I won't spoil it but that one has a design I always like to see. Good work overall and good luck on future projects.
This was such a good game! The beginning was great, the personal touch of the journals, the realisation that the main character doesn't remember what he did, the jumpscares. I got goosebumps so many times. 5 Stars!
Best game ever PERIOD. I have never felt that unconfortable during any experience movie / game / music. Took me about 30 mins to finish. Greate experience, I mean WORST one but in the good way. I want to see more from this team.
bad game i had a horrible time :)
I have never been so scared fixing pipes underground before. Has a lot of backrooms lore to it, I like that. Very cool atmosphere. Had to read diary entries and listen to the narration to understand what happened. I enjoyed this game and recommend. See my playthrough here: https://youtu.be/XMzhqmwyxbs
