Great game with many features, rn i would really want to get the new modern version of game with a new simulation system as well.

Promises a lot, but fails to deliver. The interfaces are clunky and difficult to navigate and the gameplay is frankly bizarre. The tutorials instruct you on how to use the various sonar stations but on the missions it doesn't really correlate - everything seems to be a cargo ship or tanker and often the computer assigns multiple trackers to the same ship which is just confusing. Also, you can run into mines (with no prior warning from the game), randomly get hit by a torpedo from a helicopter (again no warning) or destroy your sub trying to break through ice (which it tells you to do). This helps destroy the remaining fun this game had left.
