Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/SIlctRFt34k I was confused by the Steam store page EA description as it says there are currently 15 levels. However, when I played the game, I got a message after the 6th level, that basically said thank you for playing the game in Early Access. Also, the other levels were labeled as "under construction." It seems that there is less content in the game than described or there was some sort of error in the game. Despite the issue above, I cannot recommend this game. From the tutorial, to level 1 to level 6, the game never evolved. It was just basically break everything in the area within a certain time limit. Unfortunately, using melee weapons never felt satisfying as they lacked proper physics. The level designs were kind of drab and repetitious. The grocery store layout is basically repeated in the first five levels. It was never interesting to look at. The lack of physics or depth to the gameplay, just really made this a snooze fest. There are better destruction games in VR including Hotel RnR or even several of the Kaiju VR games. The first level isn't much different than the last. Even the upgrades of increasing your storage or making the shoot speed faster, didn't improve the gameplay. The game is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting a steady 90 fps. I did not experience any major bugs (unless the bug was the missing 7-15 levels described on the store page). You do have full locomotion and snap turning, as well as a teleportation option. The game is in Early Access so it has a chance to improve and for more content to be added. However, what's there currently, I just couldn't recommend. Unless somehow levels 7-15 do exist and they just happen to totally change the game to make it actually fun. I would say avoid until the game is revamped. It's not the worst VR game ever, but it's just boring after 10-15 minutes. Plus there are much better games of this type out there. Любопытное VR приключение с понятным интерфейсом и забавным геймплеем, главное это не трогать котиков...
Break stuff and get rewarded for it in VR. Time constraints force toy to exert yourself quick as you absorb and shoot objects from your hand when you're not just picking stuff up to smash other stuff https://youtu.be/03V-C4ZhSxY
Oyun güzel fakat daha iyi vuruş hissi vermesini isterdim. Etrafta birçok şey kırılmıyor ve buglar biraz can sıkabiliyor. Pek içten olmasa da hala güncelleme gelmesini göz önünde bulundurarak tavsiye ediyorum.
just ruin the malls :) really good game with enjoyable destruction perfect game to let your stress out after you cant find that one bug in your software ;) 100% recommend
I spent a bit of time in the game and well.. If im stressed I get to smash things! Thats it, and I love that. Looking forward to the full release.

extremely short game, took 8 minutes, physics are very unrealistic, crashed mid-way through when nothing was going on multiple times. generally just poorly developed.
I'm writing this review after completing the game a few times. I'm playing StressOut on my Quest 2 thrugh VirtualDesktop on Steam with my 1080ti graphics card and I didn't see any performance issues so far. The game runs smooth. From a design perspective game is an smash up playground and I think it's meant to relax and intrigue with unique mechanics. Even tho the game is in Early Access, I enjoyed fun mechanics like object manipulation that resembles a bit of Portal 2 and Garry's gravity gun. It's sooo satisfying wrecking havoc in VR. With dev constantly updating the game, I'm eager to see where they'll take it. At this point there is no use of me saying that I want more content, but future updates with hints of destructible environment like buildings look very promising. I also wish that by the time of final release there will be some improvements on skill system, because at the moment upgrades feel more of a "stat boast" and not enough "I feel more power'' My thoughts on graphics are that as a fan of lowpoly i'm still missing some details on items and some skill effects that would evolve thru playthrough for that rpg feel. The game takes the chill and funky vibe which is supplemented well with dynamic music. While the music is lacking at this point, it's still good and will probably improve. Overall im impressed with the game and potential it holds, so i'm looking forward to see more. I recommend it to anyone that seeks casual destruction games with unique mechanics and some funny moments or maybe there's a darker story hidden somewhere - like "Why am i running against clock"?
Very fun and unique game, I'm having a lot of fun playing it.
